I am in for the meet guys. Will be driving down alone from Bangalore on a Friday evening.

Can we have the Place of Origination in the list below. Wanna know how many from Bangalore are going.

Basu! See post #155 on page 11 of this very thread where PatchyBoy had given a tentative plan for us starting from Bangy. We(Myself+PatchyBoy+Condor+khan_sultan--> @ the moment) are however planning to move from Bangy on Saturday @ around 6:30 Am as per the plan proposed by Rajan, however Luke is planning to start on friday evening itself. So you can decide on when to start.

If you leave Friday evening, wont you reach Pondy by midnight? Ain't it better to leave Sat early morning with the other folks ? And have you made hotel bookings already ? Are there any day trippers coming, if so I might join, also just to clarify would it be fine for some sedate driving, because I typically dont do the 120's drive unless and until its absolutely necessary.

Srikanth ! I think the "Chennai Annas" as are affectionately called are starting on saturday morning i.e 30th Aug and do sync up with supremeBaleno(Biju), nitrous or headers for the final travel plan. Ofcourse there would be sedate driving but considering they would be traveling on ECR, some folks might be enthusiastic about redlining, but on the whole you can follow the pack without any problems i think.

Wow! This is going to be one nice meet and folks i also updated the calendar in case if some guys happen to chance upon it, might join in later cheers:.

I was looking more on doing a Sunday morning and back in the evening type as I might have to go to Mumbai for 3 days that week and my home minister might not agree for a Saturday night sojourn...

As nitrous said, there would be a few Chennai guys driving to Pondy on Sunday and back in the evening. You could join them. I guess Madan80, Rahulkool etc are planning Sunday drive.

Nice drive options you have planned. How many are joining you ? As of now, we have only suites (4 to a room at 950 per head) and S.Deluxe rooms (3 to a room at 970 per head) available. Will PM you the details.

I see the following incoming funds to my account :

1) 14/08/2008 CR INR 3,600.00
2) 14/08/2008 CR INR 2,150.00

The first one must be the rental for 2 Deluxe rooms for PatchyBoy & VJ_Mavrick ie. 1800 x 2 = 3600.

Second one looks like a Deluxe room (1800) + extra person (350). This must be the transfer by Bottle's friend on behalf of him (for the Deluxe room for 3 booked by him).
