@Lukeskywalker: So are you starting on friday itself? as i had seen you mentioning on the Triphase reports thread about you coming to Pondy as well.

Yes, just 4more days to go. Did not get any more confirmations. So tomorrow I will release the 2 rooms I had blocked. ANyway, inspite of the hype created by the hotel guys about the hotel being booked full during weekends, I feel that even if some of our guys just drive in on Sat, there might be rooms available.

Ofcourse there might be some guys driving down on Sunday and back in the evening.

Guys, Am eagerly waiting for this one. have even got my S10 ice'd for this. Now the ICE experts at the meet would have to tune it for me :-)

I had posted a tentative plan on page 11 of this thread for Bangy Boys, leaving on Saturday Morning. As we are just 3 days from the drive, I thought I must get your consensus on the following:

1. Start time 06:30 AM. Is this OK?
2. Shall we detour from Krishnagiri to Bargur, Tirupattur and join NH 66 at Singarapettai? I read in the route query thread that the stretch between Krishnagiri and Singarapettai is not very good.
3. I remember Condor wanting to stop at Tiruvannamalai to visit the temple. How many others are interested?

Sure Hari. Take the Chennai Road from Krishnagiri. Ignore the turn off to NH 66, which is just about a km or so from Krishnagiri. Proceed for ~ 20 KMs. There is a right turn to Bargur. Take that. At Bargur take the Tirupattur road and proceed to Tirupattur. Before entering Tirupattur, you will cross a flyover. The first right after the flyover is Dharmapuri road. Ignore that. The next right is Salem Road. Take that right and then the left to Singarapettai. No further deviations. The total extra distance works out to < 15 kms.
