Me likes the responses

If the list is finalized and the price (Including DJ) is OK with everyone , then on Monday 17th Oct i shall confirm the DJ and boat availability. If majority want to be prudent, then i think we can make do with our own boom box considering that I dont see many couples and families dominating the numbers on-board. My only guess is that the savings could go into transport costs to get there from far away areas and that would bring in more of us Team-bhp'ians together.

Here's hoping we have many more members join in-- those who have not made it to Hyd meets till date.

Been eager to get back to THP quickly and have not paid attention, can you suggest the cost/ head based on the numbers we have now.

It seems certain that the drag race will be conducted that week-end. Will not things become too hectic if we have a boat party then. On the other hand, if the drag is on, a few friends from other cities who are in town for the drag might join in.

DJ sounds good if he will play 'our' music.

Shall confirm the booking once the money is put down by everyone that's confirmed.

Its my humble opinion that the tentative list may be ignored since we cannot collect the money as on date, nor reject their involvement till the last moment. If the people in the confirmed list are happy to share the costs as it stands now , then i shall go ahead.

so its basically 12k/35 = Rs343/head for Boat booking alone.
