@Monaro- could be. It took 24 hours to kick in and everything I had after that, my family ate too. Plus none of you guys seems to have been affected.

Proposed date: July 2nd or 3rd
Primary Objective: Accumulate brownie points by organising a family meet
Departure time: early AM
Return time: Late afternoon/ evening
Proposed destination:
A. Pune - Bhor ghat (Varandh ghat) - Mahad - Mangaon - Tamhini - Mulshi - Pune
B. Malshej ghat (interested guys from Mumbai/ Nashik can join too)

1. selfdrive (+2) confirmed only if this is a family meet; either location ok

Sorry Sudarshan sir, but there werent enough confirmations for the 25th; hence moving to the next weekend. Also the new date would be better for the fiscally challenged (read as selfdrive!)

Guys who went to the Mulshi meet; can you please confirm your feedback about Hotel Paradise. Can I recommend this for a visit during the rains for 8 people (2 kids included)

If not, can you recommend a suitable place for a day visit during this time? Either Lonavla or Mulshi is OK

@Bala: The place is absolutely lovely. Specially in the rains! The place is run by an efficient Sardar family and the food is yummy. You can sure recommend it to others.
Only thing is, if you plan to go down to the lake, be prepared to walk. With kids, that may be difficult. Our member Ajay had to wait back to look after his kid.

The place is good for lunch and a day trip have awesome view of back water however not sure about overnight stay for family.
