I have a lot of road tar stuck on to the car as well as some other foreign objects adhered to the paint throughout the car. I was looking for a clay treatment and wanted to by Automotive Clay. Can someone point me to a place in Bangalore where you get good Automotive clay.

yes i too checked it there.
But i was not heard about ABEL Auto products before.
But they told it's very good as turtle or 3M products.
the price is more or less equal to turtle and 3M products.

OOps. It seems to be permanent as even Vanish failed. Vanish is a stain remover from Color clothes
But then I thought there are solutions available to remove permanent color as well. Any suggestions, friends?

@Vahanpujari: How about checking with your dealer if he has a 3M treatment for this? From what you have mentioned, it seems very strange that the light stain still prevails. Vanish is formulated for clothes, it won't have the same affect on the clothes stain on your leather.

Have you tried a commercially available leather cleaner? That should do the trick.

Do not use any solvents inside the car as that will leave you with a heady odour that will persist for many days.

I use water with vanish powder mixed in it to clean my seats too. usually it just about cleans anything. try using some heavy duty aftermarket cleaners otherwise try getting professional help. would recommend you not delay in case it sets in thoroughly

Hi Guys.

Need some advice.

A certain reputed window film company is offering "lamination" of the entire car including dashboard and tyres !!

It is supposed to be a 5 coat procedure with a year's guarantee of your paint being protected. Supposedly minor scratches will not affect the paint once the laminate is applied.

Has anyone heard of or done this before?

Would appreciate an answer asap.

Many thanks,

SS

Be careful of what you use. You should not end up staining the leather further.

Hi,

A variation of the teflon coating but according to them nothing like it!!!
They claim it is exactly like a second skin????
Cost Rs. 8000/= and they say that's without making any profit

The company is V Kool.

Regards,

SS

I'll stay away from it. Its a layer on the 1st count. So tomorrow if there are deep scratches or something else or I want to touch up some small area or I want to go for surface refinement treatment, I'll need to first remove this layer.
