I hope you know that Porter Cable is not a direct compatible to use over here. You need to have a step up transformer.
I would suggest to buy something from UK where the electrical standards are same as india.

DAS-6 Pro, very similar to Porter cable DA.

No doubt about PC DA being the best but i had apprehension about the electrical standards, that's it. So i opted to get it from UK.

If you buy it, please put up the review, so that it helps a lot of people over here.

Yes this is what it is, Its very cheap compared to the ONR. Locally I get 500ML of "Soap oil" concentrate for Rs 30
The shine/gloss this gives seems as good if not better than the ONR.
My neighbor has been using this on both his cars for several years now and swears by it. I have seen it remove all kinds of mud spots, dirt and water marks on his casr. After the wash the car also beads water well. But nothing compared to a just waxed car.
He had a huge laugh when I showed him the ONR and told him its price

My question - is it safe to use this on our cars? Its only 30Rs I will get 500ML of this over the weekend and see what it does.

As I said it looks like mild cleanser.
If you have a realtime example -your neighbour, then I suggest you give it a shot atleast once.

^^ dear Abhi , most probably you will not get soap oil up in north ( delhi , haryana ) but it is commonly sold in bangalore and south. To me it seems nothing but cheap unbranded liquid soap.

You don't really get 'soap oil' - which is what is obtained when a base(alakali) interacts with oil. Mostly what is sold as soap oil is LAS (Sodium Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate)- the cheapest synthetic surfactant base.
Honestly, it is very crude. Good for cleaning rough cement etc not a product of choice. I remember that the old service station wash attendant recommending that in the early eighties when all this was locally known as 'Teepol'. It strips the paint surface of all waxes, sealant and even the top layer of the paint - which was why it gained popularity.

Hi Ajay , Not sure of grit guard but a bucket with grit guard is available here Zaino India . I believe that it was pretty expensive.

• Do we wax [polish] before we apply sealant or do we apply a sealant before we wax [polish]?
• Can you recommend a good lubricant to use, for claying the car?
• Can anyone help with information on where we can find Meguiar's products in Bangalore? [I've tried meguiars.co.in, their India site doesn't work]
• Please could you recommend a good sealant?

I currently use Turtle Wax platinum liquid wax, but once the stock is over, I'm going to replenish it with hard wax from Turtle, Meguiars or Waxpol [like Rudra ji has said, Waxpol returns amazing results; its very good].

Fantastic idea!! Good going chief! Am gonna do this myself. The grit guard available in India via online shopping sites is damn expensive. Imagine selling the vegetable basket for 2-3k, I would be RICH RICH RICH!!!
