According to Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 2 of 2 tyres usually end up with 90% nitrogen with machines.

See the "Nitrogen Inflation" section on the page.

No nitrogen for my vehicles, thank you! It is even offered free in an IOC bunk on my way, but I have to fill fuel for availing that and I am not prepared to change my brand of fuel. Further, I feel uneasy if I don't check air for my vehicles once a week!

But you can check nitrogen every week too? Also try to check if it is less than 78%!

Normal Air has 78% nitrogen & lets say your car needs 33 pasi air. Will it be called notrogen filled if you fill 42 psi normal air (78% of that becomes 33 psi nitrogen) ?

I can, if I fill petrol every week. But I fill my tank only once every 40 days. Even if I do, the USP of nitrogen filling will be lost!

Once a week is good if you don't use vehicles a lot. Else, once every 10 to 14 days is good enough.

But the new Nitrogen machine wasn't working, I was already feeling the fallen pressures in the handling, and had a 3-hour round trip to do. I accepted plain old air!
