Re: 1st Gen Honda City Owners - Problems Areas, Fuel Efficiency and more

Ill try to take some pics asap. The switch is exactly like the OEM defogger but with an illuminated fog light graphic instead. Very factory installed looking. The 4500 included installation for me, which was a 4 hour, labor intensive job.

Im sure if enough people were interested, I could push for a group buy price. But that would mean a Rs. 500 deposit to reserve your spot I'd venture to guess.

The projection, fit n finish and quality is outstanding. If you want one, speak to Rishi the owner and he'll get you one for Rs. 4500/-. Tell him Aviv sent you.
Boss, please post some pictures of it.Badly wanted to get a set of foglamps for my type 2.Also how much stock does he have?
Jatin had found out prices with a dealer in mumbai sometime back for me.

But these are pure fogs.. which would mean unless used in the right conditions, they'd be serving hardly any use.

I myself wanted to get the additional lamps... but quickly understood that the foglamps were only good for the specific use in fog. Auxillary lamps are more useful for Mumbai conditions in my opinion.

Nevertheless would really like to see how they look! So hope we get some pics fast!

Old habits die hard. Apologies. These are additional lights, not the hard yellow fogs for off road driving. Give me a few more hours. Will post pics tonight. I have a feeling you'll like what you see

looks nice, and cleanly executed job.

could you tell details about the installation procedure, wiring, and is that plastic cladding matte black in color? please post some picture taken in daylight, if you could tomorrow.

EDIT: please think about changing the front number plate on your OHC, it - kind of - spoils the look.

He has more stock and the light from them is fantastic, I'd say around 70% of the headlight. FYI, in the pictures below, my headlights are off. Just the parking light and the fog.

Re: 1st Gen Honda City Owners - Problems Areas, Fuel Efficiency and more

while we're on the subject of headlights and aux lights... check this site out. HID retrofits for the OHC's.

City Type Z 2002 miles

I came across it a while back n just forgot to share it with you'll. This guy's job is pretty brilliantly executed. Interestingly, even they use the Depo brands in Manilla for the OHC headlights.

Anyways... the HID retrofits for the OHC in the pics look sweet & perform even sweeter! amazing light with just the right cutoff i think!

If only the guy could do it n send it back here in India for a decent price

Even Sainath does this for OHC's all kinds of projectors rangng for Rs14k to 26k , personally i wouldn't spend so much on head lights. if you are interested i can post the catalogue for you .

Ryan, Thanks!

Didn't know that. But 14 & 26k!! I thought there were setups for around 8-10k which were good n complete with projector shrouds.

I guess i will be getting a pair too , just confirmed with rishi that HID's can be installed in the fog lamps too.

BTW do you visit AR Motorsports , think i saw your car there , My office overlooks the garage , get to see some nice cars everday ! There was a Matt Black Nissan GTR this friday.

Regards

PS : Does your OHC do 224 km in half tank , as i see in the pic ?
