Do you feel the car to be underpowered, or unresponsive to acceleration inputs? Secondly, at what engine rpm do you upshift/downshift? Perhaps that can help experts here in determining the cause. Please revert with your findings.

Had felt friction and slight sound when pushing the clutch pedal. Next day gave it to TASC. They said they have to dismantle clutch assembly and have a detailed inspection. By noon they telephoned and said that the springs inside are weak and they are going to replace the whole assembly. Asked them to do some minor dent work and painting meanwhile.Today they informed that all the works are finished, but on test drive it seems there is something seriously wrong with front suspension and will find out and rectify that too and give delivery tomorrow by noon. They asked whether I hadn't noticed the suspension noise. In fact there was some noise but I hadn't taken it seriously. Fortunately, it is still under warranty.

I noticed a lot of black smoke from her exhaust and prerana motors service station cleaned the air filter and reset the car ECU, now the black smoke is gone but the mileage is still bad, i got 11 after that. I had been to mysore once and i got just 14. Any info/help is seriously appreciated.

Now ther's something for me to cheer. No offence intended
My QJD returns 16 kmpl consistently, be it city or highways. I too observe lots & lots of black smoke from my vista. Surprised no to find any such thing from the MJDs & DDiSs

This is my 21st month with my vista mj aura and car started showing age-i mean driver side door's lock side got rusted and back quarter glass beeding also rusted and given to Autozone coimbatore. They painted the door and waiting for beeding parts, both under warranty. But they asked me one funny question have you done the anti rust treatment for under body?? i hadn't and said them so then they said warranty is not applicable ..really man i started laughing and asked them how foolish is their question and after trying to explain them for next ten minutes,i started loosing temper and then they agreed and done the painting with out cost. After that with in a week i had starting complaint and went to again autozone and they replaced starter motor but they again said no warranty coz it got spoiled by the hard water of coimbatore.Strange reason !! but i have told them to send it to tata motors for inspection and avail the refund, i will know the result in another few days.
Mileage i gets is 17km and i have done 43k in oddo.

Guys my car goes for the 20K service tomorrow. Please let me know what all needs to be done in that service. According to the TASS they will do the following:
1. Replace Oil & Oil Filter
2. Replace Fuel filter
3. Wheel aligning & balancing (Do they give us a report of the same?)
4. Brakes servicing & oil replacement
5. Coolant replacement (if they feel its required)

Anything else, please let me know.

This is a diff question, so a new post:
How many of us would seriously consider retaining our Vista's once the warranty (and extended warranty) expires? Going by the amount of replacements that are happening in so many cars I am too afraid to retain it after 4 years. Parts might be cheap but I will simply not have the patience to leave my car at the TASS and use alternative modes of transport for those many days. As of now, I dont mind since I am not pating for parts.

Me too having same question? Right now in 1.5 years I have completed 44K kms. But the car is running fine.

Problem with Vista is its ground clearance, which causes frequent damage to intercooler and Oil Sump. If intercooler is damaged then injectors get affected. And these costly injectors will not get damaged immediately, they will cough after some use, may be after warranty. If by chance we need injector replacement after warranty period then you can imagine the cost of repair. This is one of the reason. So the million dollar question is What after 4 years?

Do you have any problem with alignment / balancing. You can always tell them not to do it. You could get it done cheaper outside.

If they insist, ask them for the printed report and insist that if they are doing alignment, you should get a report. No report anyway for balancing and is just a money making thing.

What to do with the report, is an entirely different issue!

Please check the user manual for checks to be done at 20000kms and tell them to stick to that only.

I too was of your opinion. But recently, when I checked with the full tank, there's no change in the sound

NO, What i experience is not fuel sound. (fuel sound is also present. I am aware). But what i experience while passing a hump (while descending) is a BIG thud as if spare wheel / jack is loosely clamped & is being dropped in the boot.
But, we have already made sure they are securely clamped. This THUD is being experienced primarily on the REAR LEFT side. Once they have already changed the rear shox pair. Then the sound was reduced to almost NIL. Now (since two months) its coming again.
Also experiencing spring compression type noise in front suspensions as well.
Noise while slight braking is also present.
What are the reasons and solutions PLEASE advice.

I had a Trip last week to Pala and Kottaayam via Hilly MC Road in Kerala.
I was not experiencing Skidding or fishtailing.
I experienced - Front Tyres Feels Like losing Control kind of trembling in small steps on Turns and the Vibration is Felt in Steering Although the Car is not losing Control verbatim .
I was doing a modest 60kmph on this route with sharp corners.Tyres are stock GoodYear.I have Wheel Balancing Done on 2nd Free Service 2 months back.

What will be the Cause for this?Is this Normal?Concorde was supposed to replace Car's Power Steering Box When I complained about Vibrations on Steering Wheel. Is this Contributed to the above cause?

I think what you described is normal, at 60 with sharp corners, there would be some skidding expected. For vibrations, get the balancing and alignment checked at a good tyre shop and not at the tata service center.

@vista_qjd:Car is in Concorde,Cochin For Power Steering Box Replacement.I Complained to them about the Issue of Skidding of Front Tyres. The SA said ,For Replacing PSB ,They'll have to mess with Front Suspensions and Will be Checked.
Fingers Crossed.
MeanWhile ,I'm Feeling the Stock GoodYear Tyres also May be the Culprit(Any Recommendations on New Tyre Options?).Car has No Issue in Corners on NH's or Rubberised Roads, But I experienced skidding in uneven Surfaced Hill Roads in Kerala.

TASS replaced the Steering box.

As Regarding the Car "skidding" on the Front -Front Right Side "Strut" tightened(as per SA).They claimed the skidding was because of faulty power steering box(which is confusing). :|
I have a doubt: They removed the front suspensions to replace PSB.Do I need to redo Wheel Alignment ?
