re: BumbleBee: First Maruti Swift ZDI in Pune & Team-BHP EDIT: 20,000 km Update on Pg 12

Hi,

Firstly my New Swift ZDI does have a lamp in the boot, i dint correctly check it ..
I needed to check with you about the AVC (Auto Volume Control) and how does it actually work? I followed the instructions in the manual still havent been successful in getting the AVC work.
Can you please try the AVC option in your BumbleBee and get back to me?

Thanks!

re: BumbleBee: First Maruti Swift ZDI in Pune & Team-BHP EDIT: 20,000 km Update on Pg 12

Hello Guys!

I am really getting as I am getting FE of about 15 odd in the city and was expecting atleast 17 to 18.

Is it because the car is still in running in and I would see a change after the first servicing.
I have completed 850 on the odo till date.

Please help me!

Its all relative. Come drive one of our cars for a day! You will stop cribbing about mileage on a diesel mill

You can look at mdsaab's excellent thread on how to extract best mileage

Multijet will take some time to open up, but 15kmpl in city is good mileage.

@Moralfibre Any updates on the mud flaps and floor mats?? My dealer still doesn't have in stock. 3D mats from the old swift (friend's car) seem to fit decently. Should I bargain with the accesory guys as the old model has been discontinued.

No Racer_X, I got ordinary floor mats. I really didn't find the cost of 3D mats justified. You can bargain and see if the prices are reduced. Btw, I got a quote of Rs. 3,950/- for these mats.

What if we new swift guys go together and ask for a heavy discount.
Bafna guy on FC road might give us a good rate.

You can learn a thing or two from the ARAI folks! [I wonder where they drive]
How is the beam throw at night? Any upgrades on that front?

P.S.- I can understand your joy coming from the City

The beam arrow is perfect no issues there. In my opinion the fog lamps are not that great though!

Why not just pick up a set of Packy poda mats. They are universal mats and cost around Rs.600. They are absolutely fantastic at collecting dirt and a bit of water.

You can get them at any accessory shop or even at Spencer's supermarket.
