What about the noise levels at 160 kmph? Are the road noise + NVH levels controlled or does it intrude into the cabin? What do you feel is the ideal cruising speed on the expressways?

Would you be able to check and tell the rpm at 100 & 120 & 140 kmph respectively?

Sorry if I'm bothering you with too many questions. What to do - waiting period drives people crazy, I'm reading all reviews and ownership reports one by one.
The NVH levels are really low and the intrusion is very minimal with the awesome ICE playing in full blast .

17.9 Kmpl and 17.3 Kmpl in city reported by few on this thread is making me wonder. Are these with 100% AC ?

Will try to calculate in sedate mode and see if I get the same kind of FE on BumbleBee.

Sid, Bee can easily return that FE with sedate driving. The next time you are on the E-Way, cruise along at 80-100 and see the FE figures.

My 2 year old Swift D still manages a good 20+ on highway runs.

Guys I have completed 5k and the Bee is due for the second servicing.

Would like to know if there is anyting extra which I need to get done other than the routine servicing.

Should I get the wheel alignment-balancing and tire rotation done?

Tyre rotation is advised every 5k kms. Not sure about the wheel alignment but it surely makes sense to get it done along with rotation. However, I would suggest get it done not at the service centre rather at a reputed tyre shop. Many service centres also do not have proper tool for alloys, at least here in Delhi NCR. Also they don't understand tyres. I have realised this at my peril.

Can anyone confirm if 195/60/R15 tyres can be fitted on the OEM alloys of the ZDi? I plan to switch to Michelin or Yokohama after taking delivery of the car but don't wish to change the alloys. I assume warranty would go void since the tyre profile is different from the stock tyres (65 vs 60).

If im not wrong the stock ZDI alloys are 15*5.5 J, so it should fit 195 section tyres without any issues .
I dont think you will have any warranty issues if you upsize to 195/60/15 .

Hope it helps .

Go for Tyre rotation for sure. Include the Stephny also for roataion as per the manual instructions. The guys at service centre try to avoid the 5th tyre always. Pls insist them to include that too.
My M800 Bridgestones are more than 45 k old ( Changed them at 69k ODO. Now it reads 115K) and still have another 6 -8k life. I never missed rotations at every 5K and balancing / alignment at every 10 K intervals.

If at all you bumped into a bad ditch/ bump and feel there is a requirement for alignment, then do it ASAP and never wait.
Else, 10k is the interval for Alignment or balancing.
Rotate them every 5K for sure to get the maximum life out of them after maintaining correct pressures regularly.

+1
This is an excellent practice to prolong the life and lasting value of your tyres and wheels.

Great stuff Racer!

How is the Bumble bee serving you? Whats the reading on the Odo? I hope you have not faced any issues with the brakes, like few others have. BTW, please add a photo or two of the 3D mats. I guess this request was made by quite a few members already. Would you?

Cheers!
