Indica and Safari are a lot different. I've owned a safari 4x4 for close to 10 years..My credentials are impeccable. A friend in need is a friend indeed - an old saying.
Uncle ji, what makes you think I am driving back directly from Ludhiana to Noida Chuckle... Chuckle....
Its going to be a long long route home

condor : The mHawk 2.2 comes with a patterend paint job. This will be a problem if you ever need to re-paint any panel.
A correction. Things are not as bad as I thought they were.

What I thought was a patterned paint-job, is actually a decal / vinyl / sticker, over the base color. So if you ever need to re-paint the Scorp, you will also need to get the full set of decals / stickers from M&M and paste it on the door /panels after the painting is done.

Having said that, I will still prefer not to have any stickering / decals / vinyls on my cars. We still will not be able to get the original finish.

The patterning was actually too good to be truly painted.

You should have gone to the Tata Motors plant in Pune and driven it up. Imagine the sadness your Safari is experiencing by not having to use its tyres to do this trip.

Is it actually possible in India to take delivery of a vehicle (any vehicle) from the factory?

I believe it will be pasted over the colour but before the clearcoat/topcoat as you cannot feel anything on the top, if you use your hand.

Must be after the clear-coat. Each panel/ door has a single sheet, and you can clearly see the sheet being stuck on top of the paint.
