Yes! Confirmed. Just searched for jazzy_2cool's and zak's old posts. Their cars are also having the white reflectors!

Congratulations on you choice. Test drove a MJD on Sunday and was really floored with the engine response. maruti guys have managed to do a better job with the gearing and sound deadening and interiors.

But Palio definitely beats the Swift on rest of the counts like space, build quality, features.

In Pune the waiting is quoted as 7 days for petrol and 15 days for MJD. No discounts offered, no freebies offered at all.

Personally, I like the white reflectors more than than orange ones.

Deepak? I think he is the one the guy from the Lease company we're dealing with had asked us to get in touch with. However some guy named Amit came with the TD car to our office, the day we booked it.

Since you know Deepak personally, any idea when the stock is arriving?

According to him, they are still waiting for lot ordered on 29th May.
I will get more updates tomorrow.

Edit: But they can do some back-door stuff and give you the car they have received for some other customer.

WOW!! 29th May? That must be a lot of unhappy & waiting customers already.

So you planning/trying the back door route?

U better call them frequently for the updates.

And my car is in transit now and will be here in 2-3 days; so I may get it on on Saturday (or Monday)! And I wont be surprised if I get a call on Saturday, saying, "Sorry sir, your vehicle s not come!"; because I have already gone through it a couple of times during my 52 days of waiting.

OT: I saw a white Palio MJD last week and it was looking fabulous. I fell in love at the fight sight itself!

Keeping my fingers crossed.
If your car is in transit, chances are, mine could be too. Just hope so.

Lease Company Goofed Up..!!

Just thought I'd follow up today & called Prerna. Was shocked when they said that they haven't received a Purchase Order from the Leasing firm yet.

Called the representative from the Lease firm & then I realized, they've goofed up somewhere. The order just isn't placed yet.

I hate this..!!! Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Seriously. 'm so pissed with the Lease company. Found out more details about this & this was apparently due to the person in our firm who is supposed to have just send a mail back to the lease company, over my response, saying approved. She's not done it. These Temp employees in our firm are real lazy sometimes. Will give that lady a piece of my mind tomorrow & will surely escalate it to the Manager.

Damn..!!

Why not actively follow up with Prerna to see how they can speed things up at their end?
