I just got a call from the bank saying that the loan has been approved. so i will get the delivery of the car tomorrow evening after the registration. I will update you guys after i take the delivery. This is my second car. I already own a Palio 1.2 nv sports model which is now three years old.

Got the delivery today, after the long wait of two months (I booked on May 26th). The white SDX looks fabulous.

I will start a new thread tomorrow after clicking few pics tomorrow.

Hey TomRider, Congrats. Finally you got the car after a long wait.

Saw a White Palio SDX today morning, first it was parked opposite Namdhari's at BTM layout then saw the same car goin towards Bannerghatta. It had White alloy wheels & all the while I was wondering whether it's you.

'm waiting for my Black SDX, it's gonna be a long wait. I'll also get hit by the Road Tax increase as well as the hike in the interest rate. I'd earlier got it for 11.9%, now it'll go up to 12.5%. But I guess it's ok, all I want is a color I love.

It was not the freebies that mattered to me, it was only the color. 'm ok if I end up paying a bit of a premium (in the form of higher interest rate & Road Tax increase) if I get the color I want though.

EDIT: Does it come with Alloys by default?

No. No alloys by default!

PS: Delhi is flooded with ready delivery of black SDXs. Have seen SDXs in red, white, dark blue(?) but none in black.

Latest Update..

I took my booking back to Prerana, in fact it wasn't canceled yet although I was finalizing things with Manipal.

The lease guy called on Saturday saying that if Manipal will take 1 month for delivery, he would have to raise a new PO due to the hike in the Road Tax, this would mean that the earlier interest rate that I'd got, 11.9%, would no more be applicable & would go up to 12.5%.

Prerana called this morning & asked whether I'd want to go for the White SDX & that they'd still kept it for me. I declined, saying that I want the Black only, to which he mentioned that if Manipal is giving you a Black SDX, that would be the new shade of Black which would be released by the 15th of Aug, he then went on to say that even they (Prerana) could deliver that shade of Black to me by the 15th or 20th of Aug. I asked him to confirm whether they surely can, or not. He called me back in some time saying that can deliver the new shade of Black by about the 15th/20th of Aug. Thus I retain my booking with Prerana, which now means, the old PO stays, thus I get it at an interest rate of 11.9%.

The Road Tax increase is the only price difference now, which I will pay the dealer directly.

The Wait.... Continues....
