Avi,

Talking on the i10 beige dash problem. I faced an issue while driving my friend's i10 and had to place a dark cloth on it but don't face any problem when i drive my brother-in-law's accent. Strange but true.

Hmmm. It could be possible.Lemme drive the car for some time and I will certainly post a feedback regarding this issue.

Yep, this is what I have experienced too. But for the beige interiors which get dirty easily and reflect on the windscrren, i10 is a perfect car.

could be something to do with the angle between the dash and the windshield, or even the relative height of the driver's seat. does the i10 have an adjustable driver's seat?

I am not sure but i think it isn't height adjustable. But i have a feeling that tall drivers may not have this problem as my friend(6ft tall) did not complain much when he drove the i10 .

This could be due to the way the windshield is slanted that takes the reflection in the i10.
Also the quailty of glass makes a difference - how much the glass reflects.

I am 6.1" and i am loving the entry and exit of this car as i usually have a tough time getting in and out of my Viva

And, i think only the top-end model of i10 has the seat height adjustable feature.

Hey Avi, that is a real coooool carrrrr! I somehow missed this post earlier. I agree with your reviews of the cars evaluated, and would have ended up with the same decision as yours, if I'd wanted to buy a car in that segment.
But why wasn't the petrol Swift in your list?
As regards the freebies, attaboy, what a list! If I were the dealer, this would have been my poisition--->'Choke, Choke,Aaargghh'!

Swift P was also in consideration but it didnt make sense as it was higher priced than the i10 by quite a margin and it has cramped and dull interiors and most importantly it would have been a tight fit into my second parking space

I am sure the dealer is going through the same feelings that you depicted

But hey, customer is supposed to be a king after all..isnt he?

Hmmm... new car. So in whose name is this one registered? If you know where I am coming from... ;-)

By the way, congrats. Its enthusiasts like you who keep the industry floating in tough times.

Also, tell your boss about that fab sales negotiation skill of yours. I am sure he will be floored. Haa haa haaa.
