In case of my previous vehicle Maruti Suzuki Versa, the dealer took more than two weeks to replace under warranty ac compressor and thermostat switch, which went kaput within one month of delivery due non-availability. Also, after every service, there will be some nuts/bolts/screws were found missing. I changed many Maruti Authorized Service Stations, who were all equally bad or good, and ultimately stuck to the one, who was near my home. That was the only criterion. Perhaps, the known [or the nearest] devil is better than the unknown [or the farthest] angel!

geeash,

Need help with FIAT top brass E-mail ID's. I had escalated a booking issue to these ID's - ceodesk@fiapl.com Mangesh.Kodalkar@fiapl.com Aashish.Bhardwaj@fiapl.com but no response so far. Are these ID's correct?

Thanks for the info. I thought I knew it . My friend had E-mailed them on 30th Nov. I had sent a mail on 2nd and then a reminder on 7th but no response so far. Seems that FIAT is not interested in selling the car!!

Send them 4-5 mails in a day and then they will respond. Or tell that you'll escalate it to someone in Fiat Italy. I think Mangesh's phone number is available on some post, try calling him.

Hi Geeash, if this helps, I own a Fiat Palio MJD. Purchase and service is with VST Motors. Been with them for a year and half now. They are good, both in the way they handle the car and it's owner. I am very satisfied with their service and there are also times when they come home to fix minor issues.

Hi friends,

I had the experiences of services with Mahindra, TASS and Maruti. Out of all Maruti is the best in that area. Though I was inclined for i20 I changed my mind and went for Ritz only because of the availability of service and also the spares. Let me stick with Suzuki.

11k update

car it touchwood running fine till now. no major issues except a minor squeak from behind when car runs over the pot holes. and also i feel that the car has lost its smoothness and have become a little noisy.

and because of the monsoons and pot holes in chennai the car is beginning to scrape under very frequently. i have also checked the tyre pressure and it is fine.

Thank god the seat doent come down after the seat track change.

The car is nearing 12 k now. just a few kms. another 3k to go for the 1st service

12k update

touchwood the car not been to the service station for this 1 k kms.

Had a scrape with cyclist yesterday and had a big scratch on right front and rear door. luckily it is just a clearcoat scratch.
the car was taken for the 3rd sitting of the paint protection by 3M yesterday and car has comeback with showroom shine. They have removed the scratch as well and there are no signs of the mishap. all these thing for rs.1000 only

it is really heartening to see my linea shine like this after the hassles with the TASS.

The clutch slave cylinder has not been changed as i have told the service advisor that i will change it during the first service.

a couple of squeaking noise come from back probably from sunvisor which needs to be rectified during free service.

Have to check the tyre pressure as it has been one month since i had a fill of nitrous.

Planning for yercaud trip in january. so it is time for bon voyage!!

Sad to see an excellent product being slowly poisoned to death by poor *** and weak Quality Assurance.

I am sad to state that customers are slowly but sure weaned away from Fiat flagship models like Punto & Linea (Great cars), our Monthly car sales thread says it all.

When will Fiat rise up to the occasion and respond to customers needs.
