Hey Riju, thats a suprise again. I was not aware that you sold off your Baleno. Looks like it is raining SUVs in Bangalore.
Now eager to see a nice travelogue on the mHawk.

Good going Riju! Great to see another Scorp in the group
As you mentioned, it takes a bit getting used to, especially after driving a low slung sedan like the Baleno. But once you get used to it, it's a hoot to drive. But yeah, fast cornering goes out of the window
When you do get around to upgrading the tyres, I'd suggest the Yoko Geolanders. Fitted them on my Scorp recently, and am very pleased with them.

This makes it stand apart from the "normal" HUGE grill most of the scorpio owners tend to use. The lights are like the cherry on top.

Good choice man.

Abhi' as you said, I have to mellow down on my fast cornering. Tyres is something I am seriously looking at now since I have this fetish for good alloys and tires, hopefully they materialize soon.

Talk of washing and waxing. Last weekend it took me good 3 hrs to finish up the washing and waxing, only to be spoiled by all the slush around the farm.

Also how was the middle row comfort on long trips?
Yes I did check the black one with the silver cladding . To me the VLX looked better in terms of the finish. Middle row seating is good for 3 well built adults. My advice would be to stay away from the 8 seater since its way too cramped in the last row.We did check this before buying and only then opted for the 7 seater.

Congratulations!
The additional lights give a different look to this car. Are they Xenon ?

I agree that torque can be addictive, but Baleno was in different league. That car handles corners well, rough roads well and is simply an amazing drive. Every time I am behind the wheel of Baleno, I forgive all its short comings.

How is ride quality as compared to Baleno ? IMHO Baleno ride quality is good, but how does it compare with this SUV. You will now not be blinded by lights of all oncoming vehicles though.

Congrats on the mHawk. Nothing sounds better than the growl of this engine. Post interior pics too.

The locations for photography have been good and do very good justice with the white color.
