I have already told the Service Center to go for "new" rather than "repair" as this is just 1 month old vehicle and first time I wanted to keep the vehicle for long.
Would request others to give me what need to be checked and what would be the approx cost that I would be seeing.

Sorry to hear about it. But the beast has kept you safe.
You would have to shell out 10K approx from your pocket.
50 % of the cost of cladding and the side mirror.
50% of the cost of the sticker which would cost you INR 8000

+ Taxes as applicable.

I expect nothing more than 10-12 thousand which you will have to pay.
Total cost of repairs would be any where around 30 k +

oof yaar my heart goes out to you. this is one huge scrape. i remember how my heart broke when a dumb biker scraped his handle and left a scratch on my 2 week old scorpio, when the whole incident could have been avoided had he seen my turn indicators blinking.
now fortunately this damage is all cosmetic and wont affect the resale value of your vehicle. i dont see any structural damage to your A pillar and i hope it has no nasty surprises. the service centre is a rip off if one has to do bodywork but then again insurance zindabad (at the cost of no claims bonus do factor that into your total bill as well). the way i see it this bill should be about 25 grand (max 30 coz they will make you replace the door, the electric mirror and its controller plus new glass for door) and you will probably pay about 5 - 6 grand max. i am not sure about the no claim bonus but that would be another 5 grand or so so your total loss is about 10 grand.

yeah, feeling really bad as it was avoidable if I would have been more conscious, at least it would have have not been this bad except few scratches and mirror, but lesson learned never get excited once you are out of some "JAM" keep the cool, now I realize there are multiple signboard around highway saying "chuka dhyan gayi jaan" how true this is, just a moment of lapse and you end up paying heavily!!
Am hoping its gets back to near to original as soon as possible.

The excepted cost is 60K tomorrow the Insurance survey would be done and final figure would be reached for claim and what need to be paid, will update once I get the final figure after the survey. The VLX sticker are not available right now and would take some time, any help in getting that would be appreciated.

oh my god that is way too much are they gonna replace a lot of parts which is leading to a high bill.
i think that this could be a bit of a scam where they will repair parts that they may put on the bill (as replaced) example the rear right hand side door which they can repair but may ask you to replace. it happens a lot and the insurance surveyors and *** can be hand and glove in this. if you have to pay more than 10 it will be time to squeeze.

60k is unbelievable mate. ask them for an itemized bill copy or quotation. though i would not ask you to be stingy or compromise in anything, its better you personally check each & every thing.

The cost seems to be on higher side, the rear right side door and the front panel are having a small dent, while the rear door also have scratches the front panel doesn't have any, I asked them for itemized bill, and the reply was lets first get the insurance survey done and then will give you the itemized bill!! I will wait till survey is done and would definitely looking at the item they claim to be replacing get replaced. Good part every spare is available except VLX sticker and automatic sticker.

My guess is you are getting 2 new doors, a new front mudguard panel, and a rear panel section, plus cladding, paint, stickers etc. Since you asked them not to carry out denting repair (rightly so for a brand-new car), they're replacing the panels. It remains to be seen whether the insurance surveyor actually sanctions changing all the panels or not.

You really don`t have to break your head here.
All the parts are covered under the insurance.
except for the plastics which you ill have to pay 50 % and 50 % (4k )for your sticker which would be around 8k.
So, let them replace everything.

I have done this earlier on the same kind`a accident.

Heartening to hear that every other thing would be covered in Insurance and only plastic part would cost me, I am going for a replacement rather than denting and painting. waiting to hear to total cost by tomorrow and would make sure they replace the parts rather than just keeping on paper, will have to see the old and new side by side to make sure I got what was charged.

No worries on that. If a part is changed, the repairer HAS to return the old part as salvage; and when the insurance surveyor is sanctioning a change of panel, he ensures a hole is punched into the panel to prevent it being reused.

This is a news to me, I was not aware of this process, if the surveyor approve they 99% time I would be getting new parts, 1% if service center wants to cheat! I believe they won't cheat on me as I am there repeat customer and the only one for 4wd AT Airbags as of now :-)
