great log alter..good to know you all had a blast.

brandon, nice to see kanisha enjoy her drive again

asdon, you have gained weight man !

i have been lucky to see the Jog at its full vigor, the roar still rumbles in my ears to date. I had been there during the september times, and yes it was raining.

Bring on the rest of pics.

Wait for the funniest video, I will post it tonight.
I have also seen Jog in its full swing, but was not so lucky this time. Going to Goa next month via same route, so hope to see a better view.

Ha Ha. We took a lot of videos enroute. I guess he is referring to the Mr. Zen and the three stalkers. And the fun we had on the way back, after the stop at Kamat

Anyway, I will let the video do the talking

Those who missed this trip, you guys missed one of the best drives ever. The road on the way to Gokarna was truly drivers paradise, except for a few stretches that had some rough patches. Which was like probably 10 KMs in 510KMs. So hardly made a difference.

Brandon, I know I have been missing quite a lot of interesting drives of late. In fact I am going to miss all the drives very soon :(

These power transmission lines clutter what would have been great views. Why do these guys have to find the most scenic places to put up these power lines?

Great Pics Inder. Your Camera was simply amazing and intriguing.

I really enjoyed the sane and safe driving as well. These pics bring back the memories of the road.

Despite the roads being so good, we were mature and responsible enough (knowing we have kids and family) to keep our cool on the roads.

Just to take a look from other side, even the power lines looked majestic to me! Thats a different thing, what they did to the natural views!

Thanks Brandon. As I said earlier, this camera has all the features that the latest cameras have + night framing. Ofcourse I have lost interest in Photography nowadays, since my new interest is taking pics of Tanisha.

Definitely, we didn't pull up any stunts which would be dangerous for the family and drove safely though sometimes we touched pretty good speeds.

We should have a drag race if we ever visit the spot towards Jog. We'll ensure we have the family sitting in the truck (Safari) while we are at it

I agree ampere. They are majestic. I once did a double exposure shot. Took the photo of the moon in the night (long exposure). Rewound the film back to place and then got under a telecom tower in Manipal and took a shot vertically up in day time.
It looked like it's a bridge to the moon. Used to try crazy stuff during those good old days of film photography.
Now it's all simplified with a cut and a paste!
But sadly, the power lines are an eyesore for nature lovers like me! I wouldn't like to see the eiffel tower on top of kanchenjunga!
