The CPC2 has it's good points and it's bad points. The CPC2 is the best in the wet and it is the most durable out of these. However, I think when it comes to dry grip, the Yoko C drive and the Primacy LC are a little better. Regarding comfort, my vote would be Primacy LC, C Drive and then Conti.

LC, C drive, CPC2 - are these tyres available in 195x60x14? am currently running on 185x70 xm1+. Might need a replacement soon.

I am planning to change the tryres for my swift and the quote I got from 185 X 70 X 14 is RS 4000 per tyre for continental eco contact 3 and CPC / CPC 2 is been quoted at RS 5000 per tyre.

I would like to know what the difference between continental eco contact 3 and CPC /CPC2

195/60-14 is the wrong size for Swift. Stick toi 185/70 R14.

Also, if oyu are on styeel wheels, you cannot go beyond 185 section tyres.

None of the above mentioned tyres are available in 195/60-14.

Is bridgestone Turanza ER60 a better option , want a tyre with good side wall and grip

I am running 195/55/R15 CPC2s on the Baleno and not happy with the braking and just about ok with the grip levels. I wish i had got Yoko S drives instead ( it was out of stock in that size when i was looking for a tyre change.)

If you still want to get hold of CPC2s in Mumbai, check with Premji's in Thane. You can find the address in Team-Bhp directory section. There is one more shop near teen hath naka that stocks Contis, dont remember the name. From Teen Haath Naka go towards Mulund Check naka and you would find the shop on the left side of the road, about 300 -400 mtrs from Teen Haath naka. Btw i paid around 4900/tyre for the CPC2s

Are CPC2s available in 215/50 R16 size? This size seems to be the best upsize for new Hyundai Verna top end models.

I was not able to find this size on the Continental website and even on Bridgestone and Michelin.

Could anyone shed some light, pls?

215/50-16 is nearly impossible to find. Try 205/55 R16.

Yokohama S-drive anytime better than others. The grip is too good i just got them fitted in my car recently and im very happy with it. Little noisy since its a performance tyre but the grip is just too good or you can also try Michelin PP2 but that will be a bit heavy on your pocket.

you might find that size in some chinese brand but then i dont have any idea about the grip.

Just had a bad experience again with the CPC2s locking up too soon again. This time i was not lucky and my Baleno rearended a stationary truck some time back in the evening. :(
Although i am not blaming only the tyres for the accident, they are definitely lacking in the braking department. BTW i was running 30 PSI on the tyres, proberbly lesser pressure should have provided some more grip. Please stay away from picking up these tyres.

I agree.... I braked hard from 140 in the Civic the other day and the tyres locked! Not what you would expect from a car with ABS!

Grip is still ok but braking is shocking! And this was in the dry. I will concede there was a little sand but it was not much. I know this road inside out and simply the brakes shouldnt have locked! Especially with ABS! And it wasnt an ABS failure. I c ould feel the ABS kicking in too.

I'm looking for CPC 2, would be thankful if someone could suggest any geniune Continental dealerships here, in and around Delhi.

Another help was, if someone could throw some light on the pricing and experiences that you might have had with them.

Does it mean we stay away from CPC2 and rather buy LC even though it cost a bit more, from comfort and safety stand point?

The CPC2s are really useless set of tires then. I have crossed 24K on these tires, now the ABS kicks in quite often than before and the wheel spins without any traction for some slightly aggressive starts from complete stop.

I would strongly advice against these tires, the only good thing may be they are good in the wets when new. Thats about it!

What other option do I have for the S? MAZ1 or the A-Drives :-(
