Saw A-Drives in size 195/60/15 for my car. Got a quote of 4.1k, is this ok?

Which would be better A.Drive or C.Drive keeping ride comfort in mind?

AWD - I would suggest that you go for A drive if you are looking at the cost & comfort alone.
I would suggest C drive if you want to have better handling in Dry & wet conditions over & above the cost & comfort. C Drives are slightly expensive as compared to A Drives
Both these tires are silent on road unlike Good yr. I went for a C Drive for 185/60R14 last weekend. Very happy so far though these are initial days
I am not sure if C Drive is available for your tire spec

Thanks Muru, yes comfort is a big requirement but cost not so.

So, C.Drive is for better handling, which again is not high on agenda.

Any idea on how much would A.Drive 195/60/15 cost.

4.1k is a good deal for A drives.
Both are equally good in terms of road comfort. I didn't find much noticeable difference.

AWD, the price quoted by you is on higher side. Check out at few more dealers. 1 year back, I bought it for 3450.

For which tyre? We keep on hearing every now & then about increase in tyres prices.

A.Drive in size 195/60/15 was quoted to be ~4100/- tyre.

Just joined the A-Drive family with 185/70 R14's fitted on my Swift Vxi. 14K for a set of 4 (retained the best of my stock JK Tornados as spare). Got it done at Premji Tyres, Mahim. Also treated myself to a set of killer black alloys to go with my dark blue baby (Taiwanese brand called 69).

I'd also been considering Michelin XM1+ in this size but the price difference was just too much (they quoted 4200/- each plus these were out of stock). Michelin is running some Samsung mobile phone free offer but frankly I didn't need another cellphone!

Thanks to everyone at TBHP, especially Nikhilb2008 . You guys truly rock! I can't tell you what a blessing it is to read quality, unbiased reviews at leisure before taking a decision fully informed. My final consideration set was Michelin and Yokohama in this and 195/60R15 size. Was a little scared of affecting my ride quality which is awesome in the 14" and so played it safe.

The feel of this tyres is amazing- they take potholes with ease unlike my stock "rocks". Did a run across half the city in moderate traffic and they feel good. Hope it rains tomorrow when I drive it back to Pune!

Will post pics in the alloys thread- by the time I got home it was dark out and couldn't take pics.

Can't be the A drives.. They don't come in 17".
