A Ford Prefect was once owned by Dr Harvansh Rai Bachchan in Allahabad, as the family car of the Bachchan family. A similar Ford Prefect was resurrected and gifted by Mr Anant recently to Amitabh Bachchan, son of Dr Harvansh Rai Bachchan. It should be one of the most desired Ford Prefect's globally now. As Amitabh Bachchan says "it bears the same registration number."

Hey Amol, the Shivaji Park Impala moved out from here in 2018. The owner has kept the car away in the garage of his Alibagh Bungalow because whilst it was at Shivaji Park, it was parked out in the open near the sea side and was gathering unwanted attention

The Amphicar Model 770 is an amphibious automobile, launched at the 1961 New York Auto Show,[2] manufactured in West Germany and marketed from 1961 to 1968. Production stopped in 1965.

Designed by Hans Trippel, the amphibious vehicle was manufactured by the Quandt Group at Lübeck and at Berlin-Borsigwalde, with a total of 3,878[2][3] manufactured in a single generation.

A descendant of the Volkswagen Schwimmwagen,[4] the Amphicar offered only modest performance compared to most contemporary boats or cars, featured navigation lights and flag as mandated by the US Coast Guard — and after operation in water, required greasing at 13 points, one of which required removal of the rear seat.[2]

The Amphicar name is a portmanteau of "amphibious" and "car".

Here is an interesting car from Hyderabad.

Appears to be a Vauxhall 14/6

The Vauxhall 14-6 is an automobile which was produced by Vauxhall in the United Kingdom from 1939 to 1948.[2]

Announced in early October[3] for the 1938 Earls Court Motor Show the 14-6 was offered as a six-light, four door saloon [2] and was powered by a four bearing, OHV, 1,781cc Straight-six engine.[4] It had a top speed of 70mph and could accelerate from 0-50mph in 18.2 seconds.[5]

Wow!. I never thought that they made it to india. Fewer than 4000 of these were made and the good ones retail higher than 60-70k$. Most of them ended up in USA.

Goa makes a perfect choice for such a vehicle.

The Fiat is now in Jaipur for some minor work, I am told that they will not play with the originality and that it is not for sale.
