Thanks for the pic. But why was the car rebodied? Was it to change the configuration or was the body beyond restoration?

Here's An Austin 7.









Its Taking too long. Had seen it aronud 5 months bac & only a little bit has been done till now. I Think the owner is not much interested.

it does happen shreeram the owners do get tired and think too much time has been spent on the car and nothing is happening so they give up. sometimes they do not like to spend at one time and think they can restore it slowly over a period of time. doing this just ruins the car further. u end up redoing things you already have done

Ishan, Thats a Very NEAT GARAGE! thats the kind of garage I'd like to give my cars to See the Finishing on the Olds. Very Rare to find such places. yes they would be Expensive, so what, the hobby/passion is an expensive one anyways!!

uncle this is the kashyap motors workshop cum showroom and the cars belong to the owners.

Oh, But dont you agree thats the way a garage should be!
see the carpet in the Olds, what a neat job.
Set up a Hobby garage like this and my cars will go there to you for maintainence!!

i agree uncle the garage is way too neat. they do have to follow international standards as they are VW dealers and it is their workshop.
i am working on it wanted to do it for ages, we have shifted to andheri now and have thought of doing it, unfortunately lack of space and no external funding causes a problem.

karl the picture where you see the herald roof. look past the bonnet of the oldsmobile where the guy is standing. he is working on the herald. you can see the rear of the car.

ishan would be able to answer that, i think he did take pictures of the car while i was keeping the sales guy busy with the Bmw. (thats how the porsche picture was taken)
