That W108 Mysore car was initially advertised some time back for 3L. It was LHD and had Tamilnadu plates and when i called the owner he said original engine was not available. Now its become RHD, has Karnataka plates, petrol engine has dropped down from the skies and the price is just 16L. I pretty much presume his W111 would have also undergone some modifications that MB itself would be confused about. If wishes were horses...

I would like to bring to your notice the comments made by "car love" regarding my advertisements for the Mercedes W108 and the Mercedes W111. I appreciate if you could correct his comments as he has aired incorrect information.

I did advertise for a Mercedes W108 which was sold about 2 years back. Yes that car had Tn plates.

The car I have advertised is another W108 that I have for sale. I have stated the facts of the car and it is a RHD and I have not hidden any facts as I have mentioned that it has a 300d Diesel engine. I also have a spare petrol engine, so his comment "dropped down from the skies" is out of place.

I happened to get the picture of the car you advertised couple of years ago. I had saved it on my comp as i was a serious buyer. I have no intention to convert this into a war of words but in my eyes this had "Dodgy" written all over it. You may be right and you may have two cars but as this forum is a place to help each other in our common automotive passion and right price discovery, i had to flag it up. Its up to the audience to figure out what is actually going on. Two black W108s (as you claim) sitting exactly in the same place (as the pictures show) with different number plates is very hard to believe...

Saw this 1952 Baby Austin for sale by Anjali Agrawal Gupta on Facebook. The car looks time capsule, but may not be having her original patina.

Price was not mentioned. The car looks complete tough.
