Mercedes-Benz teases Vision EQXX EV with 1000 km range

The battery cells on the EQXX concept will have a 20 per cent higher density than on the EQS.

Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser of its futuristic electric car concept, the Vision EQXX. The new Mercedes-Benz Vision EQXX concept is set to make its public debut on January 3, 2022. Once unveiled, the Vision EQXX claims to become the brand's most efficient electric vehicle, with a real-world range of 1000 km (620 miles).

Markus Schafer, COO of Mercedes-Benz also stated that the concept will have a single-digit consumption value for kilowatt-hours per 100 km, when driven at normal highway speeds.

Mercedes-Benz also claims that the battery cells on the EQXX concept will have a 20 per cent higher density than on the EQS. Although a concept at this stage, the carmaker confirmed its plans to bring the technology to its consumer products very soon.
