Tata cars now being delivered in plastic safety bubbles

The plastic bubble can accommodate all the cars in the Tata portfolio. It is expected to be adopted by more Tata dealerships in the coming days.

According to media report, Tata Motors have started a new delivery process. Customer cars are kept inside a plastic safety bubble after they have been readied.

Vehicles are put inside after being thoroughly sanitised to reduce physical contact ahead of delivery. This is one of the safety measures adopted by the Indian carmaker due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The plastic bubble can accommodate all the cars in the Tata portfolio. It is expected to be adopted by more Tata dealerships in the coming days.

Tata began producing passenger cars in the 1990s. It built models like the Indica, Sierra, Sumo, Safari and the Nano. Their portfolio currently includes Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Nexon, Nexon EV and the Harrier.
