MG Motor India has announced a zero maintenance package on the Gloster. Customers can avail of free servicing for the first 3 years or 45,000 km, whichever is earlier.
MG is offering the zero maintenance package as part of its Ownership Experience Program. It can be extended to 5 years / 75,000 km at an additional cost. It not only covers service and repair costs but also wear-and-tear part expenses as well. These include components like wiper blades, engine oil, oil filters, electrical wiring, hoses, motors and brake pads.
Besides this, the carmaker is offering an assured buyback option to Gloster customers after 3 years of ownership.
The MG Gloster is also due for a facelift. The updated version of the SUV has already been spotted testing in India. It is likely to be offered with the same set of engines as the outgoing version. These include a 2.0-litre diesel that puts out 161 BHP and 375 Nm and a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel that makes 215 BHP and 480 nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The MG Gloster facelift has been caught testing yet again. The latest spy images showcase the SUV’s redesigned front end, among other exterior updates.
The 2024 MG Gloster will be based on the Maxus D90 and could adopt a similar design philosophy. The spy images reveal a heavily redesigned front fascia that has a large grille and vertically stacked headlamps. The SUV could also get a continuous LED light bar at the front.
The upcoming Gloster is expected to be longer, wider and taller than the outgoing version. The SUV has a distinct shoulder line and flared wheel arches. It gets a slightly raked rear windshield, wraparound taillights and dual exhausts.

MG Motor India has announced the launch of the Gloster Blackstorm Edition, with prices starting at Rs 40,29,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Gloster Blackstorm Edition is characterized by its all-black exterior with red accents on the steering wheel, headlamps, bumpers and red brake calipers. The SUV gets black roof rails, smoked taillights, black window surrounds and black fender and fog lamp garnish.
The Blackstorm edition comes with an all-black interior with red highlights and dark-themed leatherette seat upholstery with red stitches. The SUV is equipped with several features including a dual panoramic sunroof, a 12-way power-adjustable driver seat with massage and ventilation functions, ADAS and an all-terrain system with seven modes: Snow, Mud, Sand, Eco, Sport, Normal and Rock.

MG Motor India is gearing up to launch a new special edition of its flagship SUV, the Gloster, in India. The SUV will be called the 'Black Storm' edition and will go on sale on May 29, 2023.
The Gloster Black Storm edition is said to be based on the 4x4 variant. The SUV is finished in an all-black colour scheme and gets red highlights on the bumpers, ORVMs, and along the sides. It also gets a special 'Black Storm' badge. The all-black treatment has been replicated on the interior as well, with black upholstery and red ambient lighting.

2 years ago, MG launched the Gloster SUV in the Indian market. Numerous test mules were spotted leading up to its launch. Initially, the Maxus D90 was put on road trial duties. It seems MG is also using the LDV D90 for testing purposes in India.
LDV is part of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and the D90 is a rebadged version of the MG Gloster. The SUV was spotted in Madikeri in Karnataka. The image also shows a couple of service vehicles and another test mule being worked upon.
MG launched the updated Gloster in August this year. The SUV now comes with redesigned 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and other minor updates.

The 2022 MG Gloster has been introduced in India with prices starting at Rs. 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The updated Gloster comes with new 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and a new exterior colour option called Deep Golden. The SUV is also available in Agate Red, Metal Black, Warm White and Metal Ash shades.
On the outside, the Gloster gets a large chrome grille with LED projector headlights on either side. It has fog lamps, side steps and quad exhausts.
The Gloster comes with 75 connected car features as part of the ‘i-Smart 2.0’ app. These include live weather updates, remote ambient lighting, air-conditioning and audio controls. Images of the 2022 MG Gloster have leaked online ahead of the SUV’s official launch scheduled for August 31, 2022.
The leaked images suggest that the Gloster will get a few updates on the exterior and inside the cabin. On the outside, the SUV gets new 19-inch alloy wheels and a new exterior colour option.

MG Motor India has released a teaser of the Gloster on social media, suggesting that an updated version of the SUV could be around the corner.
