Nice job Tarkesh!!!
The paint looks very nice and the color is somewhat similar to what Bigman(satnam) has on his 550. Isn't it?

The sitting position seems totally off! Is that the final position of the drivers seat and steering wheel?

Looking very nice, are you going to keep those front fender sides green? They would look better in black (but thats just a quick job to do).

Also have the rims been sprayed ?

Hey Dan/Harjeev/Satnam/Randeep,

Thanks Guys!!!

Dan, I am attaching the comparison pic with due respect to the army Jeep and the person.

Satnam, I will color the sides of bumper with Black only plus the rims are painted with one coat only. after all other fittings the final clear coat and these small little things will be done. Same as I want to put Black on the Head light Grill as well.

Dear Jyobeb,

The seat is not yet fixed and the position will be fixed only after checking the alignment of the existing set of seats.

Hi Guys,

There has been some improvement in the restoration. The Heat resistant material has been put under the bonnet ,near engine area and inside the driver cabinate as well.

Wiring is also done almost. Fitted the air filter - Wanted a sport filter but for now I will settle with normal one. Radiator is fitted. Now the dash board and Control pedals are also fitted.
Engine has also started after fitting radiator, silencer, air filter etc. Sounds good and refined. I am happy.

Pls see the pics below. Now I am eagerly waiting for seats to fit and want to take a raw trial.

Tarkesh Awesome job on the heat/sound proofing. That is the exact material used?

Also looks like the Electricals has gone through a complete overhaul.

When the tentative completion date?

Thanks Dan / Sunny,

I dont know the name of the material but as per my Brother (who is Head - Body and Paint Shop) this is best Heat resi material. Actually I asked to put this Heat Resi material inside the Bonnet but on my jeep it was not there originally.

Yes Dan, Electricals are totally new.

Inside the cabin, I am putting Carpet on Heat lon I guess, this will be decided by my Bro.

I am expecting completion in next 2 weeks.

The "heat proof" material you have in there looks like foam. It may be heat proof, but it is not fire resistant. Foam+engine fire is a dangerous mix.
