My budget is restricted to 20k.

1.Pioneer 5950IB Head Unit(5.5k)
2.Front-JBL GTO 607C (6k)
3.Amp- Pioneer 6300 or Blau GT4 Special (6k)

4.Rear- JBL GTO6527s or GTO6537 or (anyother you may suggest) (3-4k)

Prices are estimates picked up from this forum.

As i don't want to fix a plank I am not going for GTO 937 ovals.
This way all the 4 speakers fit into doors(I hope not much of a compromise on the SQ by doing this).

Guys I am not sure about the rear speakers, please let me know if you have anyother model or make in mind which will go better with this set up.

Same goes for the Amp.

Thanks,
Cheers.
Guys please reply to the above sentence in bold.

Question for SAM - JBL 6 Inch X 9 Inch 3 way Car Loudspeaker - GTO937, gifts in india at rediff shopping

says GTO937 costs 4950, which is what I got it at. My friend got the same installed at 3.1k for a pair in his Swift Zxi. SInce you said JBL does not go for a discount, how is this possible?

Is it that these are fake or seconds? Sounds as good or better than mine, I should say.

If cost of 937 is that low, it has to be a fake. Sam can confirm if JBL fakes are doing the round in the market

kuttapan: as far as i'm aware....no fake 937s are available. Your friend might've got it WITHOUT B&W, still the price (3.1K) is higher for grey.

Many of us run 2 amps on a standard car battery. just dont run your audio without the car running.

@Kuttapan,
I got JBL GTO937 for 3.2K with 1 year warranty and bill. I have warranty card with me. Also the product is genuine as sound quality is gr8.
I am running GTO's on Blaupunkt GT4 Special MK II amp and Blau London MP37 HU in my Spark.

@djay: is the warranty card stamped by the dealer? and do you have proper receipt with that?

also, is the warranty from dealer or company? I doubt you can get JBL 937 for 3.2K with company B&W (oh yes! unless you use that three letter magic word, as told by navin).
