hey guys took a closer look at the photos by bunny, and guess what this pickup has monogram saying 3.0L DICOR on the fender , just above the indicator.
So it will have the 3.0 L engine after all........... was hoping for 2.2L engine in it,would have been fun to see people into most of the cars on the road see the back of the truck.

Its nice to see the concept of pick-up trucks getting a head start in India. I think these vehicles have a lot of value for money, and they'r really handy to have ( atleast in the US).

Is it just me...or does the Telcoline seem to have a few curves borrowed from the Honda Ridgeline..?? None-the-less..it has some style.

Waiting to see our dear farmers standing proudly next to their pick-ups..dressed in 'ol Texas cowboy style..

^^I was always a fan of good looking pick up trucks..hence I always had a liking for the 207 tatamobile when it was first launched...then came the twin cab and that was even better but both the vehicles were unfortunately well ahead of their times or the Indian market wasnt ready for them for whatever issues be it economic or in terms of maturity but now the Xenon certainly looks like the Indian pick up truck industry has come of age...but one thing I shud add here the stock tyres need to go...ha ha

According to Autocar professional, the exnon will be launched in India this month and in Thialand in 1st Quarter of 2008. It also says it will have 2.2L engine. Still working on which engine to launch in Thailand [2.2l or 3.0 L] as it's trying to give it a work horse image and not life style.
Any one has any insider [in tata] to confirm this.

It is not DC. Don't you think the Xenon looks 'mundane' by DC standards.

I know for sure that it is a person of international acclaim...

A fresh pic.... looks pretty decent.. though not as good as i would prefer it to be. Just lower and widen it a little, shod with wide tires and itll be one hot ride!

I like! Wonder if they will offer a 4x4 version in India. Also, is the loading bed long enough for a motorcycle? I wonder....
