It is enabled by default. Else go to Alexa app, Settings -> Music & Media and choose default music service. For my music needs, I have explicitly set Saavn as default now that I have taken its pro-subscription.

Earlier it used to show Amazon Music along with Saavn, but it was empty when selected. Will check on its latest status and update here.

I don’t own any of the Alexa devices. So it means that I will have to wait till its officially launched for every prime user. I hope we will be able to use it on our phones just like the Prime video app and not specific to Echo/Alexa devices

Amazon Music was listed and able to enable it. Now all my music needs are through it, but seems the list is very minimal. Tried some latest tamil hits and after say some 25+ songs, Malayalam songs started to play.
Never experienced this with Saavn though.

My experience is similar. When I used to request Bollywood oldies, it used to play the unplugged version by some recent singer. I found myself playing more from Saavn than Amazon Music, so now I have set it as default (though both are enabled). I think that Saavn will be better for Indian music, while Amazon Music (eventually) will be better for international collections.

Amazon Prime Music has been launched in India. Prime customers should be able to use it without the Echo devices now. Just saw the ad on the Amazon.in homepage.

+1, Breathe was good. Now that all episodes are out, you can watch them back to back without waiting for the next Friday. I liked the idea and execution, but, felt a little disappointed with the way it ended. Superlative performances though, Madhvan has hit it out of the park with this one.

Finally a music service which does not force Hindi songs on you. I had started off with Saavn, migrated to Wink and then to Gaana. Problem with all these three are that irrespective of the languages you select, the app includes Hindi songs as default. It is very difficult to locate the songs you like from the crowd.

Nice. Amazon Music passed my test for regional music. Any music service, I first look at how strong the regional collection is (Malayalam and Tamil in my case), both latest releases as well as older ones.

Amazon seems to have a good enough collection to serve my needs. Promptly cancelled the Apple music subscription. Had already cancelled the Wynk music subscription.

499 for free shipping,a very good collection in prime video and now this prime music. Wonder how long the party will continue.

Its 999 now, I had renewed it last month. But yes, good collection of music which I can download for offline listening and can also be paired via bluetooth to the car's ICE

Though it is INR 999 for Amazon Prime, I got a cash back of 500 in Amazon Pay.

Regarding Amazon Music, I felt it is imposing Hindi Songs on us. I have installed it but find no reason to move from Apple Music where I have all my playlists in sync with my MacBook. Amazon needs something strong to wean customers who already are using other streaming services.

This is my second year of Prime membership. I renewed with INR 999 and got cash back to Amazon Pay.
