VIERA TH-P50X10D is available for 77K with Panasonic Authorised Dealer, looks like Panasonic is marketing aggrasively compared to other Panasonic dealers.
Guys looking for 32" LCD just have a looks at Philips series 5 and then decide, worth buying compared to any LCD brand.Love their motion handeling capacity beats any TV anyday.

Panasonic TH-42PV8D

Just asked for the price of the Panasonic TH-42PV8D at the local Panasonic store. They are quoting a price of 52k. It is too steep than the norm for this model?

hey guys, am looking at buying a 46" TV asap. am down to two options:

1) Sony Vaio W series with Bravia Engine 3
2) Samsung LED 7 series with DLNA

pls suggest which one i should go for? or if there is a better one? room is moderately lit thru the day and the viewing distance is about 18-20'.
budget 1-1.8 L
I missed the offer of getting a 22" LCD free with the Samsung LED!

Have you considered the popular choice on this thread - panny plasmas
Here are some 50 inchers
VIERA TH-P50X10D | Plasma TV | Digital AV | Panasonic India
VIERA TH-50PY850D | Plasma TV | Digital AV | Panasonic India

here is the whole list pf panny plasmas (42 and 50)
VIERA Plasma TV & LCD TV | Digital AV | Panasonic India

Unfortunately no 46 incher plasmas in india, but i feel at 18-20', 50" would be good too.
Good Luck!

1. Seeing is believing a side by side comparison from same source in a showroom would help you in your decision making . Forum members can provide opinion if some input on point 2 and 3 is provided.

2. Features available : Same series has various models Can you post the model numbers so that features can be compared and people can post their relative utilities .

3. Cost of the model so that views on cost benefit analysis can be provided.

update: g10 yet to arrive, checked out the x10, fit and finish looks much better than the pv80, and am guessing there isnt much diff between the pv80 panel and the x10 panel, side by side they looked the same to me. but would def plonk in the diff amount just for the looks of the x10.

would suggest the samsung led 7 series, considering the fact that it is supposed to compete with the sony zx series and not the w series. and dont worry about the free lcd offer, you can squeeze in a much better discount without it.

but if you can wait by any chance, wait for the panasonic 50G10 to come in. apparently all the benefits of the neo-pdp panel are quite visible in it when compared to the 42G10. (panel thickness, PQ/sharpness and so-on)

guys anyone here have any idea about the 65" lg full hd panel? my dealer couldnt give me a pricing or any other details as he had just got the piece. when i checked it out yest, the PQ was as good as anything i have seen till date.

all inclusive, 44k is the total amount which you will have to pay. you can ask for a vat bill if you plan on claiming the vat amount.

hi knight, would suggest you to check out the sharp lcd deal in the prev pages, for a lil extra money you get a really good deal/screen. if i were in the market for a 32" thats what i would have picked up. checked it out the other day at the e-zone and lcd looked really good and total vfm. that was the only sensible priced thing in thier two day sale.

if not check out the new sansui range which are priced similarly and make a much better option when compared to haier.

Currently Samsung LED tech is better than Sony Bravia series being offered in India. Price might be a concern here. Go in for 50inch. Also while buying ask them to show you the playback using Blue-ray disc also use your fav DVD playback on that player and see the difference.

I never thought I will say this but Samsung is currently better than Sony. God my days as Sony fanboi are numbered. Please Sony do not trash Indian market with dated sets. Thanks!
