Check at Pioneer India website. Their service centres have it. Also, many good dealers also stock it. What is your location when it is not `Phew...RTB'???

Lol... RTB is "Return(ed) to Base" > I stay in Coimbatore.

I did visit the Pioneer India website- they have ONLY car audio products listed.

Will try calling the service centres listed

That is a not a good read! Are pansonic guys sending untrained enginners because it was not purchased from them? Did you get both the wall bracket and the stand? or just the bracket?

Sentil & kvenkatt what is your experince so far? Did you get it installed?

I might change my mind if the same thing happens to others who purchased Panny. Customer service is first in my priority even than the PQ, I dont want to purchase anything with such a bad customer support.

Sentil & kvenkatt -> it would be nice to have reviews from you on the delivery and installation.

After reading Dash's experience, if the panny guys responsibility is just to hang the tv on the wall, then i dont need him. So, I will be switching on and setting up the tv myself as I dont need to hang the tv on the wall.

Lg-32lg80fr

Guys, any reviews of LG-32LG80FR ?

"With launch Jazz series LG again has created a buzz it is known for, like be it their earlier launch Scarlet or yesteryears launch of Pearl black. Jazz series is more in a way consists of jazzed up models of its Scarlet series. LG-32LG80FR has Full HD resolution, higher dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1, faster response time of 5 ms and 2 HDMIs ports. It has USB Port capable of playing DivX videos and this time around supports memory card reader as well. But its real USP is its higher sound output of 500 PMPO from its 8 speakers
including woofer. It claims to be giving 3.1 channel virtual surround effect aided by SRS TSXT."

(source: compareindia)

Any idea what is the price it is retailing at ?

Or whichever 32" inch TV you think is the best ?

here in hyd, the delivery of the plasma's was taken by us itself while the dealer took care of the installation work for the pv7s, in my friend's house it was wall mounted and the features were properly explained.

and yes, we got both the stand and the wall mount unit.

btw the 50Y850 retails here for 1.7L and the 50PV80 for 1.05L (pre bargaining), was about to pick up one but was suggested to wait as the prices will drop by the jan 2009.

in 32inchers i would suggest either the samsung 32A450 or the panasonic 32LX80.

In North America, the prices are expected to drop by half in December. Don't know if it will affect the Indian prices the same way.

The delivery is only today. So hold on guys. When we booked the TV the communication was it will be delivered on Friday.

I'm not wall mounting it, so no great shakes. And a TV shouldn't be too hard to configure... being a gadget geek I think I'll set it up myself. I'll probably get the Panasonic guys to come and show a demo.

From dash's review, it looks like Panasonic is not good enough to offer professional service at Bangalore. Also a request to him: from the review it looks like he has Airtel DTH service. Dash, can you please post your review on that on the DTH thread?

I am also on the lookout for LCD/Plasma (40/42"). I am watching this thread closely.

the reason being i found them to be very good vfm for the current prices they are retailing for (30 to 33k) and thier clarity being equally good as the sony v series which retails for about 42k here in hyd.
