Re: 39 Inch LED TV?

Looking out for 39inch LED TV for bed room. What are my options?

Any here have this particular VU LED model?
https://www.flipkart.com/vu-98-cm-39...01522027717995
What's the feedback/opinion on this set? Do I have to go for extended warranty?

Please advise!

Wow that's a revelation I never encountered this when I decided on buying this as none of the review I read mentioned this flow of this TV. In fact it was hailed as the last great plasma TV and and all out buy.

We have an AC in the room but didn't think I have to use both of them togather to have a trouble free experience!

I'm now thinking to replacing the Panel and bear the expense and see where it leads.

The best Plasma out there was Panasonic. Not one missed heartbeat on my 44inch TV, been ages now since we installed in Blor! Picture is as crisp as ever. Remote is handy. Pioneer Kuro had really outstanding images too, but lacked support.

The TV was bought for about 2 lacs plus. Any suggestions help or opinions would be most welcomed. Thanks in advance.
After agreeing for repairs with Samsung I was told that the parts have stopped and that Samsung will reimburse me my money net of depreciation. They have a standard depreciation chart i.e. 17% one yr, 33% for 2 yr and 49% for 3 yr.

Since mine is a Aug - 2014 purchase i'm eligible for 49% slot and will get about 1.08 lacs back of the invoice value which is inclusive of VAT I paid at the time of purchase.

Its a novel experience for me and hoping they'll do as they've explained me. The processing time is 10 to 15 days. Now am again in the market for its replacement. Any suggestions or help will be most welcome. looking for 65 to 55 inch only.

Well get the Sony 55X9000 local dimming, that's the cheapest back light local dimming model that I would recommend. All other tvs priced below this have really piss poor blacks.

You can also by the El cheapo MI 55" 4k temporarily and then get a OLED when it drops.

The coupon arrived yesterday and was very quick and efficient service by Samsung. They took my beloved TV away. Now I'v been recommended https://shop.samsung.com/in/ua55m557...93_40302839271

Its a 55inch model M5570 Smart TV. Any one has any idea about this or share their using experience of it? Any inputs would be greatly helpful.

Try using Mi Store app to buy. I bought Mi TV 32" by app and used COD as payment method.

The fist time i tried using browser with no luck. As per my observation, the "Buy now" button got activated at 11:57PM on app.

Re: The TV Thread - LCD, LED etc.

Hi all, I'm thinking on purchasing a Sony W772E 43 or 49 inches. Has anyone bought this already and any reviews? I see the native refresh rate is 50Hz. Is it a series concern? Primary use will be by the women in family for daily soaps, shows and some full hd movies thrown in at weekends.

I only see the native refresh rate as a concern. I don't want much sports nor play games. Compared to this how is W880D. Though it doesn't have triluminous display its native refresh rate is 100 Hz and it's comparatively older model.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Finally Bought it using F-code from someone. The TV is good enough for the price one pays.

Re: The TV Thread - LCD, LED etc.

I am in the market to buy a TV for a 16x16 room.
What should be the ideal TV size. 55 or 49 will be good?
All 55" are heavily priced.
I have very bad luck with Sony products and hence worried to buy one.
What about VU 55 android tv, but this does not have HD and is only UHD. all YouTube reviews are good for this TV, except the bulkiness.

Also, am not sure if it is worth investing in TVs above 75k

For a 14 feet viewing distance 55" is recommended and for 16 feet, 65". I would get 65" if it fits your budget. Have a look at the MI 55. I have a 49 sony purchased from Malaysia. Couldn't bring a larger size due to airline restrictions.

Thank you.
I will go for 55" then. MI TVs have mixed reviews.
So the fight is between VU android TV (55k INR) and Sony X9000E (1.15 L offer price).
1 L on a TV is little unimaginable for my thought process

You can fly to Malaysia and bring it back with you. The 49" Sony 70 series cost me 49k after customs.
