It is most probably an issue with the heater. try this
. Switch to ECO Mode.
. Check the temperature. If it shows any thing above 30 degrees, set it to "cold"
. Start the machine.

If it runs fine without tripping then the heater (or its wiring) is shorted. Get it replaced.

If the machine still trips with the temperature set at "cold" then the only option that you have is to avoid this mode.

By the way, check the temperature in other modes. Especially in "cotton" with 40, 60 or 90 degrees. If it blows then it is the heater.

The dyson cordless (V8 and above models) ones are excellent in picking up dust. We have a V8 that is used mainly for furniture/car cleaning. The results are excellent. The main drawbacks are its obscene pricing (they are 2-3 time the cost of competitors). The build is not exactly robust, feels like a toy.
That said, you'll not be disappointed with its cleaning ability.

We also got a AGARO Regency Cordless Stick Vacuum from amazon, this costs 1/3 that of V8, the actual run time is around 20-25mins, and it does pick up quite a bit of fine dust, but the dyson is better (esp for pet hair on furniture). This has now moved on to my inlaw's place where it is used on occasion.

This should be an important factor while making a choice - holding one for 10mins+ does give the arm muscles a light workout. The Dyson feels easier on the hand.

Both these have very long charging times (~4hrs+), but should not be an issue if you are planning for a weekly dusting of a couple of sofas and mattresses.

If your technician hasn't done so already, LG front loaders can be booted in self test mode to test individual components one at a time. With an empty drum, you have to press a certain key combination (depends on model) within 1 second of the power key and then you can keep pressing the start key to test different components independently: motor @ 45 rpm -> motor @ 600 rpm -> motor @ max rpm -> inlet valve -> motor @ 45 rpm -> heater -> pumps.

Word of caution: the dissolving gel wrappers are not great in humid places. Here in Goa the wrapper starts to dissolve between your fingers in a matter of seconds, which becomes quite messy. Finish also has another variant that looks like compressed powder, those don't have the problem.

Actually I did not have any other option. I have a steel door (Tata Pravesh). Other than one of the Qubo dealers, all refused to install it on non-wooden doors. Then I read reviews and did not find any deal breakers with Qubo and hence went ahead.

Thank you so much guys, all of you were bang on with your analysis. I tried cotton eco mode with "Cold" setting and it did not trip, looks like heater is indeed the problem. Really appreciate the guidance here

I still have that one above as it was the cheapo one I got when I moved out but I've long since replaced it with a more powerful model. I found the 1000W rated models far more versatile in terms of what they can work on. The piddly 300W blender kinda struggled with more chunky veg unless you really cooked it down before blending into soup.

Our ancient Dyson ball stand up vacuum started playing possum recently so I was looking into replacements. To my surprise Dyson no longer make any corded (ie, upright) models, they're all in on the cordless handheld.

In any case, my experience of the cordless handhelds (and this was held up by all I read online) is that the suction power is miles less than a corded vacuum, be it an upright or a cylinder (imagine a Henry Hoover), and that the battery barely lasts when running at full power. Which makes them impractical for cleaning a full house with if you've only got 20 mins of max time. But there's no denying how practical they are. One of the best things I've seen is folks selling battery adapters for Dyson vacuums that allow you to use the standardised batteries for power tools! You'll be able to get much more robust batteries from any number of power tool manufacturer (Bosch, Milwaukee, Ryobi, etc etc) and it'll be a damn sight cheaper than Dyson. If I Did end up getting one of their cordless models, I'd 100% get an adapter and run it off the battery for a power tool. The more reputed adapters will adapt the voltage too.

The other thing I learnt from my research was that you want any model that's pet hair rated as it'll have all the fancy attachments and suction power to deal with the same (dunno why they bother selling the regular non-pet models when the price differential is often minimal) - basically the max potential vacuuming would be via those models.

One thing there is to Dyson's though given their exorbitant cost is that there's a cottage industry of repair technicians, often your local hardware store will have someone who might be able to fix it (in our case my wife's granddad triaged it back to life) - though I'm unsure how this translates in India. You'll probably be able to order replacement parts online though and there's videos and walk throughs to guide you through fixing it should you get to that stage.

Perhaps my response is too late, ... but here goes:

If space is not a big issue, my recommendation would be to avoid buying a solo MWO. In the Indian market, almost as a rule, solo MWOs are poorly and flimsily built, with most having rust-prone cavities and other issues.

Please consider spending a few thousands more, and get a more robustly built MWO. --- Just use it as a solo MWO as per your requirement, even if it has convection etc. I believe you would be happier with money better spent. In addition, you'd have the other features available for use if you are ever so inclined.

We replaced it with a IFB 25Lts solo since it is a known devil, each of the previous IFBs have lasted around a decade.
The build is sturdy, and has a rotary knob for selecting the menu - need to see how long the knob lasts.
This model came with ~1mt cable, while the previous one was slightly longer. Given the placement constraints in our kitchen had to hook this up with an extension cable, while the previous one would directly reach the socket.

Ah yes, they also have an annual AMC for 2.5k (the microwave itself costs 7.5k).

We have had three Yales now with the oldest one being ~10 years old. Flawless operation and I like the nondescript looks. The two older ones are numeric + key-card while the newest (and cheapest one) is numeric only with manual locking operation. The latter is for the maid entrance where we felt manual locking was a better bet.

Would love to move to an integrated smart door opening lock (for the main door), too but unsure of safety/hacking and cost worries.

What a scam.

I guess you have at least one year of warranty, so failures are covered for that period. In three years, you have equalled the cost of a new machine anyway.

Above all, whilst having to spend another 7.5k is not welcome, it isn't going to break the bank. Mantra: Do not insure against things you can afford anyway.

And a microwave oven takes zero regular maintenance (other than normal kitchen cleaning), so the very term, annual maintenance is a lie.

Yale was expensive at that time (In the range of 20k+). Godrej was not there in smart lock space at the time of my purchase. Lavana was one of my shortlist. Delner lock looked better and presales support from vendor was quite good. Plus they offered some discount codes which brought down their price to around 14k. DL01 was priced at 17k at the time of my purchase. Lock is solidly built. Happy with my purchase.
