Bosch is manufactured by Fortune and rebranded and sold at higher price.

I use Vim and find it comparable to Finish and VFM.

Nitecore make a very expensive one which is made for use even with cameras. I don't think I want to spend 10k!

Some are good, some are bad. It all boils down to
. Battery power. The higher the better.
. Blower power.

My son bought a generic one which did not last long. Then he bought one which has a detachable battery compatible to other battery powered tools he has. That one is still going strong after two years. The blower is strong enough to blow wet leaves off the car. Regarding computer it is quite good, but you have to clean it out in the yard as there is a lot of dust blown which coats all the walls and furniture in no time.

Re: The Home Appliance thread

Is anyone using a automatic/electric coconut scraper here?

We used to do it manually using something like the one shown below. I'm kinda an expert in using this.

The Home Appliance thread-manualcoconutscraper.jpg

My mom got an automatic/electric one a couple of days back - Preethi Cocosta amazon link.

Absolutely useless. Lots of safety features provided in the product like the scraping blade will not rotate unless the silicone safety guard is in place etc., But, on the very purpose of the product - which is to scrape coconuts, it is pathetic.

Avoid at all costs!

Cheers!

Thanks, but I'm blocked by that server because I'm a security risk!

Anyone using any of these brands? Or a smart lock in general? How’s the experience? Do you suggest to get one or stick to traditional locks?
I am having one from Qubo for over 6 months now. So far functioning as expected and no complaints.

Will try Fortune tablets once I run out of the current Bosch ones. Did not know they manufacture the Bosch ones!

Don't. Use vim dishwasher powder instead. Far better result.

Using dishwasher for 95% of our daily dish wash (we are maid free) for almost a decade. Initially there was only Finish and IFB. We used Finish, around 2017 came to know about Fortune, using it since then. Meanwhile tried couple of other brands and tried different tablets/pods. For last 2 years using Big Basket diswasher detergent/salt/rinseaid. Again they are made by Fortune, but more easy to order from bigbasket and cheaper than Fortune. As Bosch is also rebranded Fortune, no point using that. And after using many other brands, I can say there is no visual or quality difference after wash than Fortune or their rebrands were used. But for sure using detergent-salt-rinseaid gives far better results than pods in many situations. So I think you are good with Fortune, for easier availability you can order big basket brand.

Re: The Home Appliance thread

We are facing a very weird issue in our front load LG washing machine, if we run it in "Cotton Eco" mode, it is tripping the MCB for the entire house. If we use any other mode, it works fine.

Technician is unable to diagnose the issue & it very random, sometimes it happen, sometimes it does not. I don't want to replace the machine just for this reason.

Cotton mode means higher temperature wash. Means inbuilt water heater is used. So, either the heater inside has turned faulty or the MCB has developed some issue. Need to diagnose in these lines.

Have always used Finish Powerball Quantum All-in-one with excellent results: https://www.amazon.in/Finish-Powerba...07SDT7ZCC&th=1

Something similar happened with me for dishwasher. Turned out that heating element was gone and hence it was short circuiting, causing MCB to trip. As Saket77 also opined, get the heater checked.

If I may ask, what made you choose Qubo over the other brands?

Re: The Home Appliance thread

Hi. We are looking for a portable/ cordless handheld vacuum cleaner, primarily for home use to remove fine dust from bed/ sofa covers, desk, cupboards etc. The area we live in is now quite dusty. Good suction power with the right accessories to suck out fine dust preferred.

Any recommendations?

TIA
