I went shopping and could not find creative at any of the shops in Noida.
However I saw panasonic
They have 3 models in India
RP-HNJ50E-K | Neck Strap Ear Phones | Digital AV | Panasonic India
RP-HJE200E-W | Stereo Inside Phones | Digital AV | Panasonic India
RP-HJE300E-W | Stereo Inside Phones | Digital AV | Panasonic India

any idea about how these ones are.
Price is around 800 INR

I use Griffin iThump with my iPod; bought those for 1750 bucks and am happy with the way they sound.

TSK, Creative EP-630 is hard to find in shops. Even if you find one, chances are that it will be fake.
Better to get it online. I got mine from Techenclave.com 'GO' (bulk order). I think there is a GO going on for EP-630s. Check TE.

No idea about Panasonic though.

Actually I am not betting on the creative because of ear bud size. Panasonic comes with 3 size earbuds, so fitting won't be a problem.

I like creative as a brand! I think I will take the "GO".
One question though, have you used them in environments where there is loud music playing, like a gym.
I have a creative nano, and the stock earphones are drowned out because people at the gym like to listen to kaanta lagaa at full volume.

I picked up the Denon in-ear phones this weekend. I have not had much chance to try them out but i did compare them with a few existing ones that i had. The clarity of denon was amazing.

I am happy with the sound quality of my existing creative earphone which came with nano.
But I want the "In-Ear" types because I had the impression that they plug the ear like ear plugs do.
I have used 3M ear plugs a couple of times because of very noise heavy construction work, and they were good.
If these in ear phones fit like those earplugs, then I guess they will be good.

Another problem is in-flight.
The Aircraft is a very noisy environment with a continuous drone. I was hoping I could use these in-ear types over there.

I also travel quite frequently and can say from experience that iThump are great for air-travel. They also come with three sized ear buds, are comfortable to wear for long durations.

If you want to check other ear-phones, there is a shop in Palika which had Sennheiser, Creative and many other brands.

@amitoj: Which Denons, the C700?

@tsk1979: I have the Panasonic HJE50 and tried a couple of others too. Was not too impressed by them.

My latest acquisition is a Mylarone X3i, best bang for buck in ears I bought to date. Beats the xxx out of other more expensive ones I have tried and have. Cost about SGD70. Free shipping from jaben.net :-)
