Had seen a review on youtube comparing htc desire with galaxy s. The video showed that desire could reformat the text to fit in the screen size whereas galaxy s dint.
GS was running on 2.1 android.

Nice review. But about this, in my phone(SGS only) if I press the middle hard key then also it gets the unlock screen. I don't have to press the power button for that.

This is configurable isnt it?

Settings --> Sound & Display --> Screen Turn-on --> [Check] Power & Front keys

That way the display comes on when you press the Front keys.

Settings > Auto-fit to screen [CHECK]

Then pinch to zoom to the size you want, and then double tap the text and it will re-arrange itself.

EDIT: SGS owners, check out this ROM. Seems promising. I'll probably give it a shot over the weekend : Darky's v5.1

Friends,

My colleague has baught the new android phone from Micromax. Though the price is only 7K, the phone is not a good pick to buy. Stay away from it.

Folks,

Anyone used the Motorola Charm? Looks clunky but does what I like (QWERTY):
Vidar Vestnes Blog: Benchmark your Android phone - how does this motorola rate?

and how well do the exchange clients sync in real life?
