Changing the housing

Hi. Have a question for you guys.. DO any of you know how to go about changing the housing of the Blackberry 8310. I have dropped my set a couple of times and it is in bad shape now with a few cracks. So
(1) where can we buy a new housing. Do we get original housing or "look alikes"?
(2) how much does it cost?
(3) Do we have to go to a service centre to change it (is it complicated to do on our own?)

Thanks,

Victor

If that comment was to me, GPRS does not meet my needs. I use BB messenger to be in touch with my US and UK clients (its always ON, no log in and out required). GPRS also doesnt give instant mail delivery and the easy facility of quick reply or even viewing and sending attachments. Correct me if I am wrong.

I unlocked and shifted from Airtel to Vodafone in Jan 2009. Detailed reports are posted in this thread in that time period.

A visit to the National market/ burma bazar or sukh sagar mall (all in Majestic, Gandhinagar) might solve your issue. I have seen lot of stock and fancy covers of many handsets there. Another option is to order from fommy.com which might cost more.

Now u don't need to buy it from voda or airtel, its available near your local shop. The only difference is you have to buy a plan from them to get it work.

Well, you are correct for sure for BB messenger. BB Messenger do not gets connected on GPRS reason being you'll be provided a BB Id. However, Instant mail is something one need to work around. Like I have diverted all my personal mails to a Gmail A/c and downloaded Gmail app to my BB. This was I get updated for all my personal mails within a time span of 4-5 mins. of getting delivered in my original mailbox.

Question

Question?
1.Can you Bold something in your text content while using the BB? I tried some shortcuts that didn't work?
2.Can selected text font size be altered?
3.Is there an efficient way to view email, I mean short cuts. I found that N takes you to the Next days mail... like that anything that can make life a bit easier.

One question:
Is there a simpler way to add a new number for an already existing contact? Going to contacts, editing the specific contact and copy+pasting/typing the number is too tedious. Can you just append new numbers to contacts?

I'm afraid NOT. I find this rather tedious too. Hopefully a few firmware updates later we will be 'blessed' with it.

Ah, an addon application for this. Just like that other one to make the phone vibrate and ring simultaneously on OS4.X. Buying the application, just costs 3USD, but this is just stupid.

A couple of other applications for the same purpose:
Add To Contact 2 - Personal Productivity BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Apps Store
AddToContact Update Address Book Contact - Personal Productivity BlackBerry Apps - Crackberry BlackBerry Apps Store
