Install a fresh BBM and while installing when it says that BBM already exists do you want to replace say, yes.

I hope this works.

I have posted the number for Reddington service center a few pages back.

I gave one of our 8520s which was bought from London for network problem repair to Reddington and they refuse to repair handsets that are not bought from them.
Fail to understand why a BB customer should not be attended inspite of him willing to pay the charges !

Are you facing an issue with calls terminating after approx 1 hour? I have been facing this issue since long before I moved to the BB. Guess its more of a network thing.

I had a Hutch sim when I was in Bangalore with unlimited out going free , I bought it from a buddy in Indiranagar , In that sim I had the similar issue , there is nothing for the phone to do with , at every 59 th minute the call will be dropped automatically. That was a free sim and casual talks.

But in business calls on post paid sims , I dont think so the call will drop on 59 th minute.

good to know dude

and yes it is extremely pathetic on Blackberry's part not to have a dedicated service center. Guess its one way of denying Grey Market Sales.

Happens to me too, and went on with a corporate plan, as well as a family (unlimited) plan. Changed 3-4 phones during the period, so it's with the network not the phone. I've also been with Vodafone.

all blackberry users check out this site for repairs on blackberry

Blackberry Repairs Mumbai | Blckberry Service Mumbai

I am not a promoter of the site... its just that my boss other colleagues repair their blackberry from this place.

Tips: Please negotiate and patient with him. He charges anything for any work. But does the job.
