Yes it is a truly rural vehicle.... not in the sense that it is tough enough to handle the rural roads.... but it is crude enough to just be there and nowhere else.

Sumo is pretty refined when compared to crude monstorities from Tempo-- the trax family. they feel as if been put to gether by bullock cart makers from villages. Something akin to the 'jugad' in haryana

please define worst car or van or jeep from what i see sumo is a jeep and omini is a van or else title it as worst vehicle on indian roads u cant compare a sumo to a san storm or a omini to a swift
worst vehicle for me are the old mahindra jeeps

It has to be the 2.0 ltr Safari. Useless engine, terrible gearing, and you all know about the quality and reliability. For ~9 lakhs, it was daylight robbery by Tata Motors (or TELCO). I was unable to cope with city traffic; it was allergic to inclines and useless off road. Make your own road…yeah right!

Well I dont understand how could Palio Stile come in the list. If that can be added to the list, definitely Zen Estillo should also be added.

Me too. Palio Stile is a better looking than lot of cars sold in India. It is only under powered. But that should not make it to qualify for this list. If Palio can qualify, then how come M800, Wagon R, Estilo, Santro are not there in the list.

Omni is definitely the worst car in terms of safety but it also has a huge customer base due to it being the only affordable goods carrying vehicle.

Omni is certainly the worst designed one with virtually no protection for the front seaters. I wonder how come Fiat Stile, Scorpio and ofcourse Ambassador (maybe its looks ) have come up in this poll.

Regarding Tata vehicles Victa should have been here as compared to Sumo which is quite prevalent.

worst car in what ? Thread starter should define a criteria to brand a car as worst car. IMHO, Swift is worst car. I know every one hit me on this, but I feel its not at all proportional at exteriors. I like the way M800, zen (old) looks.
