Ouch! i20 was one of the neat looking cars. This upgrade looks bad! Is that the daylight running lamp under the fog lamps? They look completely out of place! Looks like a cheap roadside work. :-(

The design is good, but didnt like the cut running across its nose :( Wish they had extended it to the lip as in the current generation.

Somewhat Altis & Micra type face. Coupled with new interiors this car could turn out to be a surprise package.

In the wake of competition Hyundai is taking steps in time, Ritz facelift also coming. Time for Ford(Figo) to act now.

Susee Hyundai in my hometown(tirunelveli) has started taking booking for new i20. I have converted my swift zdi booking for my wife to fluidic i20 and the manager has promised to deliver the top end before 7th of april. Though they have taken the booking under old i20 asta name.

How much price have they quoted for the New fluidic i20 ?? or how much price difference they've hinted at !

As much as I like the front headlamps and grill, I just hate what Hyundai has done to the front bumper with the trapezoidal air dam, over the top fog lights design and the oh so cheap DRLs!! The rear of the car looks more or less the same to me with the older bumper treated with a hammer from here and there and the tail lights being of a different design. I got to say, Hyundai designers have tried to do a lot of things while doing so little and IMO have gone a little over-board. Maybe if I see the car in flesh in another shade I might think differently.

As far as cruise control feature goes, I doubt it will make it to the Indian i20 but if it does, it will hike up the price of the car and honestly it is a feature which would be totally useless in India (even on our highways where driving at a constant speed for longer durations is practically impossible.)

They have no idea in the pricing.but the branch manager says there might be options of 1.2L(new),1.4L(as before) and 1.6(as in verna) diesel heads. Pricing should be around 9lakh OTR for the top end diesel(asta with o)

The 1.4 was AT specific. Let us see whether with the new 1.2 they shift the AT version to the 1.2 as well. Also, are they doing something about the pathetic 3+1 AT they have at the moment.

Historically, Hyundai service costs are very high. I am telling this after my 4 years of association with Hyundai where I was owning Getz.

Looks like the face-lifted models have reached Goa dealership! Goa on wheels has some pics. IAB says there is an LED infused front on the Asta model.

Hormazd Sorabjee mentioned in the autocar show : A sub 4 meter sedan version of i20 is on cards. Expect it to be slotted between Accent and Verna.

Finally the Kappa2 VTVT on the i20. This was long overdue. This should help the sales of the Petrol as well.

I'm just wondering about the diesel. The i20 diesel is already the most expensive hatch in the segment. A facelift and extra features most definitely means a price hike. Will the i20 CRDi Asta cross the 10lakhs variant.
