This is how the Toyota Hilux will look. The Fortuner will have a bit sportier look. Plus different size and design alloys.

Yes, as that image was posted on new vigo (new hilux) club website it is definitely a render of what to expect from the Hilux.

But, as we know Hilux & Fortuner have the same design language we can always relate on that what to expect from the all new Fortuner

Both are same photos.

Between the two, Endeavour looks better. More butch and macho. I see shades of XUV (rear wheel arch) in new Fortuner.

I can see Fortuner following in the footsteps of 4Runner in terms of evolution of design, comfort and luxury.

Doing away of fender extensions has been carried out in all Toyota 4WD/SUV vehicles and Fortuner is the last in the family to be shedding the extensions.

Re: New Toyota Fortuner caught on test in Thailand

Looks good! That's the first new Fortuner pic from confirmed sources & I love the backside. Thank God it doesn't have that kink like shown in the renderings above. All in all with new interiors, I think the new Fortuner is worth waiting for. Only hope is Toyota should launch it early. I am hearing a end 2016 launch for it :(

Re: New Toyota Fortuner caught on test in Thailand

For a car that sells 1500 pieces a month, I'm curious understand why they won't go after aggressive localisation and full manufacturing to bring prices down.

If a 10 lakh price reduction was possible on the fortuner as a result, it could result in a 4 to 5x increment in sales.

Re: New Toyota Fortuner caught on test in Thailand

The teaser pic looks way off the mark compared to the scoop pics. The XUVish like heavy kink in the C pillar doesn't seem to suit the Fortuner, but then a design change is always welcome. Just hope the price doesn't increase way too much.

Great job. I think the front looks modern but loses the butch nose of the first generation indian Fortuner.

However this face will help Toyota in selling this much more than the current one.

Just hope Toyota improve the ride and brakes.

Looks upmarket, but definitely not butch. A hint of Lexus design is also visible

And the interiors. It's time they ditch those utilitarian interiors for something much more premium. I would've loved to see something 'Lexusy' in there!
