The presence of the TATA Hexa is unquestionable. Also, it does look handsome when compared to the Aria however, I do feel the side remains the same as the Aria.

Coming to the launch dates, Shoot me but then I feel July, 2016 is a bad time to be launching this vehicle with a 2.2 litre engine. This is particularly due to the recent NGT rulings in NCR and Kerala (On hold for now). With NGT's unscientific rule looming large over other 11 cities, People would prefer to wait to get a clearer picture and as a result HEXA might not take-off the way TATA expects it to be. Either launch this with a sub 2-litre soon or delay till the confusion on NGT rule is sorted would be my take.

This is 150 bhp/ 320 NM, underpowered compared to Hexa (the specs are in thai & I presume that I have co-related it correctly).

Point here is that the Hexa could be even more capable with TRC, ESP, Hill hold, Hill descent - which Xenon might not have.

he spy shots reveal the rear tail gate of the Hexa, which seems to have retained most of the design features showcased at the Expo. The wheels look like they were taken directly from the Aria, and so does the blacked out D pillar. The tail lights have undergone major changes and give the Hexa a very sporty look.

The Kite 5 is essentially the compact sedan version of the Tiago. The spied car was covered with heavy camouflage concealing most of the features. Judging by the shape, it looks like Tata has got the proportions right. Being based on the Tiago, it will get the same diesel and petrol engine options of the hatchback.

The Nexon looks more hatchback than SUV, the sloping roof line combined with the high boot section, give the Nexon a very coupe-like look. The camouflage was pretty tight in this one, as even the taillights seem to be covered with dummies.

Hexa has everything going for it in terms of design, features, comfort and overall package. I had a chance to observe test variant from close quarters and must say it is impressive! Those 19 inch wheels add lots of character indeed. I am not sure if I spotted the top variant but it had rear parking sensors, rear camera, 19 inch wheels but no request sensor for entry even on driver side. I really hope this feature is offered; for a car that looks so luxurious, this would indeed be great!

Other than than, the captain seats in second row are spacious and even third row looks to be quite useful. However, on inside, that touchscreen is too small for something the size of Hexa, this was okay for Zest / Bolt, Hexa should have gotten a bit bigger screen. Again, I really wonder if this is possible.

I was really impressed by bolstering of front seats as well as seat material quality. This is something that will truly pamper the driver! Oh and about the external proportions of the car, Hexa is miles ahead of Aria.

As far as i remember (and from some sources), the launch will happen somewhere around august.

That a dummy steel cover to show a large exhaust tip. There is an actual second pipe within the steel tip and its diameter is much smaller. Look keenly and you can notice the pipe. You can find a similar dummy exhaust tips in the Storme too.

The premium Germans also have dummy exhaust tips but they are mostly attached to the ends of narrow exhaust pipes instead of the rear bumper, as in case of the Hexa/Storme.

YEP and beside the Aria had two exhaust pipes so the Hexa would too. The pipes are inside and the tips are what is visible.

Thankfully they have enough clearance and the they do not rattle.

The hexa looks very lengthy when viewed in this angle and has that typical MUV side profile. Pricing and image perception from Tata is key.
But for sure it looks stunning and surely way better than then overdone Innova crysta.

To me Aria was chalk and HEXA looks Cheese!

Just showed it to the wife and she thought it looks Fortunerish if i may say so, first time she said something positive about the HEXA (exterior looks wise).

We both love the Storme , but now my heart is tilting towards Hexa, hoping it gets launched in Automatic transmission right from the beginning
