Great pricing by Renault yet again and coupled with Nissan Magnite, this opens the flood gates to the customers to buy more value for money products. Good for the market as the market leaders have been playing with bigger service networks and gadget gizmos with the average customer. These products come as a fresh air of hope to put your hard earned money! Great going Renault!

Fantastic pricing by Renault for the base variant at 5.45 lakhs! The Turbo RxZ MT version seems very well priced too. I only hope that the base variant isn't just on paper, just like Magnite where the base variant commands a l-o-n-g waiting time.

Also, I don't want to be a cynic but they had like a 10 second segment on safety. From the couple of screenshots I took of the webcast, I could deduce atleast 2 things:

1. They could have added another S too, for SAFETY.

2. In their webcast segment for must have's of a B-SUV segment car, there's no mention of safety either as a must have.

The pricing is good & I don't think much will be different from Magnite, but still I would prefer to learn more about this car.

This indeed is a great pricing by Renault.
Top spec 72 hp RXZ with AMT is 8.00 lacs, which will do most of the job in city.

People who can live with AMT, @8 lacs this becomes a top contender in AMT world of Swifts & Ignis.

Brilliant prices by Renault, my only concern, turbo is available in MT? What about CVT and AMT, both have NA engine?

I think this has been mentioned before but the NA engine gets a MT and an AMT whereas the turbo engine gets a MT and CVT transmission options.

Turbo RXT CVT at 8.60L sounds sweet! Almost a lakh of difference from top end CVT. People like me who just care about CVT and not other bells and whistles of top end model, will love this variant.

While the pricing of Kiger from Renault is great, i have this feeling that we will soon see the (O) variants as well with added features like 360 Camera, ventilated seats, TPMS and sun roof.

If magnite can have most of these features at launch am not sure why renault held them back

While everyone is rejoicing over the pricing of the Kiger; but is there really a reason to be happy about? I mean, the Kiger variants are priced similar to that of the Magnite, which was kinda expected IMHO. Infact few of the variants are priced approx 5-10k higher than corresponding Magnite variants.
And all of this, for some missing features compared to the Magnite.

It would have been a reason to celebrate if they had priced the Kiger atleast 25-30k lower than Magnite.

Or am I missing something here? (Would be happy if I am proven wrong here)

For majority of Indians Renault >>>> Nissan due to better dealerdocument and the brand value that Duster has built over time. Even at similar pricing, Kiger is a vastly superior offering for them.

I opened the webpage on chrome mobile and the brochure there is of the Kiger only, BUT! It's only of 3 pages and utterly useless. There is no specifications sheet or anything.
