My observations too. I'm seeing more Logans here everyday than any other new/existing model. An outside observer gets the impression Mahindra-Renault has its Logan plant running upto above-average capacity utilization

I dont believe the title of this thread holds true anymore.

I Doubt that! The Logan is yet to be launched all over the country and V2 is too early to talk of

Logan is a typical example of a out of place design which is very unique to the French auto companies(read this from another thread) which is very different from Indian tastes...It looks so similar to the Peugot 309D in terms of styling, shape and size.

Yes it is not a failure but a lot depends on its maintenance cost. They should try to keep it par below verna and fiesta to attract buyers.

Today sat inside Logan, its nice car, quality of beeding fit and finish same or better than Maruti/TATA and can't be comapred with GM/Ford/Honda/Toyota.

Build quality feels better however they did too much of cost cutting for sure. Thats only bad thing about this car.

Example-> Switches look very cheap and wrongly placed. Power Windows location bad than Santro. Can seat 5 people comfortably. Huge boot, good visibility over all very good car.

If it had priced 20,000 rs lesser than what it is now it would have looked very nice package. Its nice looker too at least for me

Regards,

Ravi.

Have u seen that car in real?you told quality like a 800,dont compare 800 with logan.800 even cant think of logan.Because i drove that car a lot of times when i was in Morocco. It is a pretty nice car.

No logans in Ahmedabad yet.

NHC's are as common as M800
Ford Fiestas are selling like hot cakes too. Especially since Cargo Motors took over
Chevy Aveo gives a glimpse once in a while
SX4's have already overtaken Aveo for sure. :P
The Renault Showroom is in construction stage. Punjab Mahindra promises to be operational by next month.

Mahindra had reportedly slashed booking amounts on the Logan by Rs.40,000 to push up sales. Does this explain the late bloom?

Moneycontrol India :: News :: Mahindra Renault steps on gas to improve Logan sales :: :: Business :: Mahindra-Renault's ,Logan

An internal note from Mahindra says 2,786 Logans on the 'Flash Sales' report, but further down in the report it talks about 1,500 actual sales and 3,000 bookings (see page 2).

http://www.mahindra.com/Admin/tmpupl...niqu%C3%A9.pdf

So which figure is right - 2,786 or 3,000 or 1,500?

PS: 2nd report is internal, dated 1st June - presumably after the month was 'closed'.

I don't know if those numbers are true, but I'm seeing them on the road, so it doesn't seem to have done too bad. Let all the dealerships open, then we'l really know how the car has done.
