For starters they have the new Indica platform plus the XL can be made as a regular indigo model. Price cuts are always there... surely they arent going to run out of idea's.

TOI has a report which says that 3000 Logans have been booked in 3 months. And this is in the 40% of the entire market where the Logans have been introduced. So apparently, Logan is doing quite OK !!!

I guess white is available on the Logan in only the top-end variant?

I saw one in white yesterday, but couldnt make out the variant as it was coming from the opposite direction towards me. Didnt even bother to take a look at the rear, just in case the person driving it thinks i am drooling over his car. Dont wanna give him false ideas.

As for the TOI report, i am sure even i can make news if i had loads of money to spend.

If logan's are doing ok, how come I have not seen a single one on the streets ? IMO it has bombed badly. M&M really need to work something out to get their act together.
After coming up with something like the Scorpio, which did quite well in the markets, how could they have come up with something like this ?

That was on May 30. My record of spotting one Logan everyday still continues . Spotted a weird light brownish or cream colour one yesterday near the Vashi toll plaza going towards Mumbai. I liked the nice amber lights for the instrument cluster.

True. I have seen just 3 in Kolkata till date. Certainly not burning the charts.

Hi amit,

Sorry at the risk of sounding stupid but is it possible that you are watching same couple of Logan's every day??!!

Saw three log-offs running one after the other in Bangalore today (Anil Kumble circle) - v1p3r and I were a bit impressed at the numbers till we saw these were being driven by dealer personnel in service uniforms.

They sold 2786 units in may(source: moneycontrol.com)

Where are they?? Sadly the no of on the road sightings still stands at zero for me. To put things into perspective, I have seen more "ON road test" vehicles from Tata Motors and Force motors than I have seen Logans .

Yep. Saw 6 different Logans today. The car's been a bit of a slow starter, but, sales might pick up a later if reports from owners are good. Remember, the Baleno too started very badly, but, as people came to know about its good points, its popularity grew.
As someone has said in an earlier post, the Logan looks outdated, but, certainly not horrible.

Yeah, and I think by the time it became popular among many moto-afficionados, Maruti decided to discontinue it.
