wherein the Automobile expert YouTuber (5.7 Lakhs subscriber base as on date) claims that the roof material of the Jimny is made of fiber and it is not a metallic roof, between 04:04 and 04:10 in this video.

In order to check the correctness of this claim, I went to the dealership with a freeze magnet and yes, the roof was metallic. It was able to hold that bottle opener with a small magnet. Attaching the photograph here.

And these Automobile journalists and Youtubers, Social media influencers are invited by the car manufacturing companies to cover their media drive and speak good things about their cars.

I met him during shoot of these videos. In one of them, I handed over measuring tape and ask him to measure the width of the boot. It was fun!

I have a short little story to narrate.

In January, around the time Jimny was unveiled at the auto expo, I stood on my in-laws' balcony in Bangalore and noticed an old building being demolished in the adjacent layout. Shortly after the Jimny unveil, I eagerly pre-booked one, hoping to receive it within 2-3 months.

As we approach the third week of May, on visiting my in-laws' place, I discovered a new structure emerging on the same site. The ground floor structure is nearing completion! I wouldn't be too surprised if the entire building structure is fully constructed before I even have the opportunity to test drive the Jimny, let alone take delivery. It has been over 4 months since I booked the Jimny, and I haven't even seen it in person yet!

I can't recall any other car launch with such an extensive pre-launch phase. It is truly unprecedented!
