BHPian ![]() | ![]() Mr.Bangalore You are extracting some good averages from your vehicles. 18 - 19 kmpl on a 4500km run i10 is great. So is the figure for Innova. Great going. |

![]() Compared to that, your FE is pedestrian. The only way you are going to get appreciation is if the 16.57kmpl city FE you got was from a CRV. :-) Quote:
![]() P.S. : Are you the same guy who posted on another thread about not being able to get to 5th gear on a Zen in Tvm traffic ? Not to worry. You seem to be doing good otherwise also as far as FE is concerned. Just don't compete with iVtec Hondas. | ||

| ![]() Folks, I know that the Chevy U-VA is not liked by many and is also not even considered for any kind of comparisons in the same category. However i would like to present my FE numbers. Driven mainly in Mumbai city the FE very much varies on the speed I drive. Speed maintained during the entire duration of tank fill - <60 kms/hr 35 lts - 586 kms - 16.74 km/lt Next fill Speed was anywhere in the region of 40 - 80 kms/hr 35 lts - 521.9 - 14.91 km/lt Recently I undertook a 1000 km trip from Mumbai - Aurangabad via Pune. Also covered Ajanta & Ellora. Aurangabad - Mumbai via Nashik. Total Kms covered: 996 Total Fuel: 62 lts FE: 16.06 Speed Range: 80 - 160 kms/hr That I feel is very good FE per my thinking. Any views. |
