The best FE i got with Spark was in kind of standard conditions i.e. i drove it very sedatly never going beyond 90KMPH and surprisgngly the NH 1 was devoid of any traffic. We started from Jalandhar at 12:15am and reached Delhi at 5:45 in the morning(370 kms).

As far as Nano is concerned i hope it to return about 18 -21 kmpl in normal highway runs.

Spark 2008 LT (No OP) permanent AC to prevent the interiors getting mucked up, esp the roof lining:
City: 14.3 kmpl (Light foot, 90% of the time) of Shell Normal Unleaded
Highway: 21ish (little over) Began with Shell Normal Unleaded, and then Xtra Premium and finally Power. This was on a trip to Goa, so most of it was really good highway, and a bit of hills and a bit of really awful under-construction work.

All my cars give the same efficiency. Weird

Santro, Swift and Honda city - all give me 10 in the city. On the highway the Swift and the City give me 14ish.

All numbers above are with the AC on

I am not sure about the mileage offered by my vehicles within the city. On highway:

Baleno - 17Kmtrs/ltr
Fortuner - 13kmtrs/ltr
Pajero(no longer owns one)-9kmtrs

Does it increase post 1st free service?
A friend bought spark around the same time and its giving him 14.5 with A/C...wow...
what surprises me here - even with such a fantastic FE the spark is still not as high a seller...looks like FE is not the only thing that matters after all
The FE is still the same- around 11.5 -12...wonder why is it this low- the kappa engine is supposed to be "better" than the IRDE...then why is the FE lower?? Even with this lackluster FE the i-10 sells...or is it i am getting lower FE than others :(
